If Donnie Walsh makes the call? No...
He has already made a midseason trade this decade.

If Bird is making the call... I have no idea....

Nuntius was right for a while. I was wrong for a while. But ultimately I was right and Frank Vogel has been let go.

will pacers trade during the season or they will wait next off season??
If we don't make on this season, what makes you think we'd make one next season? When Reggie retires, our backcourt will be much more balanced. John Edwards will be our starting center by then, and Artest will be the regular-season MVP w/ Jermaine as the Finals MVP.

Why mess with a good thing?

John Edwards will be our starting center?

The real answer is that it depends entirely on Ron Artest. If he continues to mature, no trade. If he shows signs of reverting to selfish/ self-destructive/ team-destructive behavior, then I believe DW will pull the plug, in-season or not.
Why do the things that we treasure most, slip away in time
Till to the music we grow deaf, to God's beauty blind
Why do the things that connect us slowly pull us apart?
Till we fall away in our own darkness, a stranger to our own hearts
And life itself, rushing over me
Life itself, the wind in black elms,
Life itself in your heart and in your eyes, I can't make it without you
