My guess was off by 39. Boy, I was flat out wrong on this game.
Lance + Starting SG = Awesome

    Now really free Lance!

no offense , but thats a very rosy way to look at it

I read the star this morning and Vogel and every Pacer talked about how important this stretch was, and how they were taking every game serious as a playoff

They had a chance to make a statement tonight

and they did, they are a very weak minded, easily discouraged team

tonight was pathetic , it was more than missed shots, or their bigs. The Kings dont have 18 wins, because their loaded with talent

This was , in my opinion, far worse than the Minnesota game
Have you ever watched a really young team before?

I have. And I've seen much much worse than this.

This wasn't anywhere close to the Minny game. There was effort in this game. There was just a terrible shooting percentage.

It's almost laughable that people expected consistency from this group.

The Knicks were better off not getting Melo.

Yea, you're right. The sky is falling. Trade Everyone.

It's not like sub .500 teams lose or anything.

And didn't the Bucks JUST lose to this very same team.

BTW: You know what happened to the most recent really young basketball team that I watched grow up. They won the Big East tournament, 5 games in 5 nights and are in the Final 8 of the NCAA tournament. And trust me...it got much uglier than this.

Was this a home game? Sure as heck didnt seem like it.

PG and Hibbert were the only ones that had decent games I thought. Granger had 20 points but was just 4-13 and Tyler had 8 rebounds and 3 assists ( both tied team game highs ) but was just 3-13. Just was a terrible shooting night for just about everyone.

But I reckon this is a game we can come to expect to happen every now and again with such a young team. It wasnt pretty but gotta put it in rear view and look for the next game ( for both the team and the fans ).

Cousins is a good player but he needs to get his mental side in check. Both he and the Kings had huge games but he still looked like he was about to explode out there.

I am finding , that I am agreeing with Sookie more and more here lately in general ..
It's pretty cool having an woman here on PD, whom has quite a bit of basketball intelligence..
Not alot of women I know watch alot of basketball.. and the ones that do .....well I could NEVER have the type of debate/discussions that we do here on PD..

Just wanted to give ya props Sookie... cause like me... you seem to get alot of ***** on here for your opinions/analysis...

Plumlee reminds me of a young Dale Davis. Good rebounding and he contests shots well on defense and his offensive game is very raw just like DD's was coming out of college.

I don't think the sky is falling, but changes definitely need to be made. sub .500 teams lose all the time... that's why they're sub .500

If you're not rebuilding, you should be improving. We have players improving individually, but we're not improving as a team.

I still miss Dunleavy personally. We need a scoring punch in the 2nd unit

I'm sorry, if you're complaining about Collison and Price tonight..you're an idiot.

They may have missed everything they threw up. But they were out there fighting and trying. I know these two are the current whipping boys. But knock it off. Neither of them are anywhere close to blame for this loss.

We lost because of our FRONT COURT..Yes, I'm looking at Tyler and Roy. And because our Front court stunk, we got stuck trying to make jump shots..and we weren't making those.

Now..that's okay. Quite frankly, this is exactly the kind of front court Roy and Tyler struggles against, and Tyler was due for a bad game. It's okay.

I'm just saying. This ain't the whipping boys fault.
    What?
Absolutely not. Frontcounrt? The defense was far from perfect but that's not the reason we lost. Hibbert didn't suck, he just didn't get the ball much inside. Tyler sucked, but it's not like he took tough shots, he just took shots he usually makes.
When you keep overshooting the three, it's like a double or nothing. Did AJ try to go inside? Nope. DC? same. DJ sort of tried, Danny as well, but that's about it.
And yes, AJ imo overshot the three, he had wide open looks but it doesn't mean he should take them all. Rush, ok. He's on a slump, and I don't like him much, but I'm fine with him taking these shots. but AJ?
We just lack real scoring options, Granger is really the only one, and if Roy/Tyler/Dc step up we sometimes win... didn't happen here..

    this team BLOWS!

the only highlight of the night was that scotty pollard was at the game

the pacers really flip this city and fans off and show how much they hate having big crowds come out to watch them by sucking and losing to ****ty teams

I have a feeling that we are going to win by 20 tomorrow and everybody is going to be happy again, I don't think the sky is falling but like I said before, we need an improvement at point guard and small guard.

    What? Ha! Apology accepted.
I'm saying the Pacers shouldn't have TJ Ford doing what he wants and pay him for it. You wouldn't want to see how he performs compared to AJ Price? Not to mention he is a veteran, which would be nice to have in the playoffs. Why shallow the depth of the team? I think he would be a good option to have; especially if Price's play doesn't improve. Just because he isn't going to be on the team next year doesn't mean you can' t utilize him now.

Bucks win on the road vs. Knicks, Bobcats only down one to Celtics on the road.

Pacers.. blown out at home by the Kings. Love this team, but we don't deserve the playoffs

Certainly cant have games like this from the guards.. The guy that gets labeled as not being a passer had 3 assists ( Tyler ) and that is as many as any of the guards.

    Just cant happen.

This team just has real high highs and real low lows.

    I'm shocked.

I guess Boston is pulling what we did tonight and slacking off to a bad team.

Neither do the Bucks or Bobcats.
