It's a real toss up at this point but since a decent Center is much harder to find and the center position is much harder to learn in the NBA, I give the nod to Roy.
I don't really like this poll even though I voted for Roy. It's hard to judge between two players that play entirely different positions and roles on the same team. Tyler is playing great and taking a big load off of Roy right now and Roy's inside presence opens things up for Tyler too. I'm glad the Pacers have both players.
Roy has one more year to prove he can be a consistent positive on the floor and be the guy we build this team around. Otherwise, we should start looking at him like a back up or try to move him while his value is high.
Tyler is a guy every team wishes they had, always a positive impact on the game, as where Roy, alot of the time, is a negative.
So at this moment in time Tyler is much more valuable, if Roy can elevate his game to the way he was in Nov. on a consistent basis, then Roy is a guy you want to build around... with guys like Tyler.
