I'm going to cast my vote for the Rick Carlisle-led Dallas Mavericks.

On a related note......right before Le-Decision and Tag Along decided to join Wade in Miami....I was lucky enough to put $20 on the Heat to win it all...which at that time had 20 to 1 odds on them to win the Championship.

I admit that I hate the Heat and all the fanfare that they get....but I'm not going to complain too loudly if they win the Championship.

Love OKC, they may not be ready, but they have alot of good pieces and match up great against the Lakers, imo. I like Memphis too as a dark horse to get into the 2nd round. Otherwise, I'd probably pick Boston. They really have the pedigree.

For all the talk about how the "superteams" are bad for the league, there are more legit title contenders this season than there have been in a very long time. Maybe ever.

They aren't the best team right now, but I somehow envision Miami getting it done. As long as they stop shooting so many jumpers.

I like San Antonio unless if they get fatigued, but I think Chicago is the dark horse in all of this. With Boston downgrading, Orlando not being mentally tough in the post season, and Miami having no depth, I can see Chicago going all the way to the finals.

I honestly can't say. I like San Antonio, but not sure how well they will hold up down the line. Same with Boston, especially without Perkins. The Lakers can never be counted out because of Kobe, but they are clearly not the same team as last year. I really like OKC, they are a very talented team, but they are very young and that concerns me. I have similar feelings about Chicago too, but they aren't quite as young. Orlando would scare me more if they ran a better offense. They need to go to Dwight more. And that leaves Miami. I like Miami, but I don't understand them. The blowing of big leads lately is a big concern. If they get that figured out they have a great chance. I honestly like them in a series too. They can be great on both ends if they just focus.

EDIT: I forgot to add Dallas. I really like Dallas. Dirk might be my MVP. Carlisle has them playing great basketball. If Dirk didn't get hurt, they would be right there with SAS.

Our arena, their arena, Rucker park, it just doesn't matter. We're bigger, longer, younger, faster, and hungrier.

I picked Boston. I don't think the Perkins thing is going to hurt them as much as many people thought. In a seven game series they are tough to beat.

I'm not sure how the West will play out. I'm rooting for the Thunder to make it, but I'm not sure I can see that happening yet. Probably the Lakers, maybe the Spurs, definitely can't see the Mavericks coming out on top there, despite their great record.

The Bulls should be in this poll. I honestly think this year might be the first time in awhile we have two surprise teams in the finals. I am going out on a limb and picking Chicago vs. OKC in the finals. It is also what I want to see happen, two of the most fun teams in the league to watch.

Really wanted to pick San Antonio, but since it's not an even year I decided to pick Boston.
