I'll probably catch a lot of heat for this, but I'll just go ahead and say it. Blake was the least impressive for me. DeRozan and Ibaka were SEVERELY underrated and overlooked. McGee should have won.

Ultimately, it doesn't matter because it's just a dunk contest but DeRozan, Ibaka and McGee really earned my respect tonight. What looked like an uninspiring list of contestants at first turned out into a real treat.

I agree, although McGee did not impress me in the finals as much. Would have liked to see one of the other two guys in the finals.

he should have saved his 3 ball dunk or the tandem goal dunk for the finals. Both of those were top notch.

Much better dunk contest this year.

Having only 1 big name contestant in the contest really stacks the deck against the smaller names if you're going to let the fans vote. I would take that part out of it

Blake Griffin must be doing some serious training in the off seasons. He was doing some off the wall, ninja combat spins out there. I agree Mcgee should have won it but hey it is what it is.

Should put that car with the back bumper at the free throw line and let him run up the hood and leap off the roof for some major air and he could of implemented a windmill or 360.

I am waiting for one of these guys to do a damn ninja flip! If Griffin and jump that high, then surely he can do a forward flip.

I think McBob could have hung with these dudes just as easy.

I think Corey Maggette did a front flip but he didn't have the ball in his hands.

I want some one to jump from the rafters and dunk it. or put it in an open roof arena and let some one parachute from a plane.

He never did anything too impressive.

Yeah he put on a cape and did an average dunk. Big deal.
LMAO, ya even with his cape, he couldn't , on that one , even "dunk" from the FT line.. imo it wasnt even a dunk and shouldnt have counted as such..

Plumlee reminds me of a young Dale Davis. Good rebounding and he contests shots well on defense and his offensive game is very raw just like DD's was coming out of college.

Thought there were really good dunks in the contest, i really disliked the judging, Blake Griffin had the weakest dunks all around in my opinion but i guess NBA wanted to market KIA real hard, he could have made a couple of layups and still won on hype alone.

What was most dissapointing last night was the attitude by some of the players in the skills competition, they were competing for what was it, 30k scholarship for the kids? That could have been life changing for some of them, is it really that hard to atleast pretend you are trying for 30 seconds, props to Curry and Westbrook who were the only ones giving a damn.

Overall the Saturday was better then some of the recent ones.

i agree some players didn't give a damn but the whole 'the child with the winner gets the money idea' was by far the stupidest thing nba has ever done . what the children with the losers get. disappointment?

I honestly enjoy watching the events rather than the games itself.

This year's All-Stars in the East are pretty much from the same teams.

The West looks pretty good with a lot of new faces.

I wish we had an All Star right now.. Or at least have some one in a competition from our team. Can't help but feel a little bit of jealousy that right now we don't have anyone good enough for this game.

Looking forward to King George representing us in the future.

    Maybe even another Pacer too.

Maybe Roy and Danny can make an appearance or two as well when we become a better team.

Russell Westbrook just broke DWade's ankle in a step back and then made a beautiful thread-the-needle pass to KD.
