Someone is going to end up injuring himself in the dunk contest before too long...
Nuntius was right. I was wrong. Frank Vogel has retained his job.
"A player who makes a team great is more valuable than a great player. Losing yourself in the group, for the good of the group, thatís teamwork."
Someone is going to jump over someone else. The judges will go crazy, as if this is the first time they have ever seen such a display. That person will win the dunk contest. The end.
I watched the 'Nique and Jordan contest live. It was great. I did not watch the Vince show live, and it was a least equally as great.
The 2000 dunk contest was the best of all time.
The show Vince Carter put on was extraordinary. He completely blew away Tracy McGrady and Steve Francis and they were both magnificent as well.
Jason Richardson a few years later was also extremely impressive.
The dunk contest was great in the 2000's right up until Nate Robinson became involved.
"I had to take her down like Chris Brown."
What would be fun to watch is if they would let amateurs and and-one players in the contest with the NBA professionals.
That's just soooo amazing.
Why cant bench players enter the contest Jr Smith ,Terrence Williams anybody else this is the worst feild ever
Is that your sarcastic voice? This hasn't been done before has it? I mean people have jumped over cars but then you still need the elevation after you get over the car to get the dunk down. By the way: Who does have the highest vertical jump in the NBA? It's not Blake right? What makes him impressive his his height combined with his jump and power.
The rumor is Blake's going to dunk over a choir singing 'I Believe I Can Fly'
Demetrius "Hook" Mitchell, childhood friend of Antonio Davis, dunked over a Mustang. I'm sure it's on YouTube, but I'm on my phone.
Idk bout u guys but blake was goin to win no matter what he didn't have the best dunks yet he still won... jumping over that car was just all show I'm sure any1 of those guys could of done that
Meh. Next year a contestant needs to go ahead and do what the entire dunk contest has done...jump a shark.
Throwing down on two hoops in one jump was pretty awesome, and jumping from behind the free throw line was awesome. Blake had a pretty good one, the 360. DeRozan had a pretty sick dunk as well. The final round was a disappointment because for all of the nonsense Griffin went through, the dunk wasn't spectacular. And McGee just ran out of gas...his last dunk was weak.
