The more I think about it, I just don't see one of our expirings being traded in the next week. There just aren't any opportunities and the only way we trade for a longer term contract would be if the player were himself a desirable tradeable asset or could enter the short list of rotational players on our team.
The larger the contract, the less likely it is to be traded. Foster 6.7M, Ford 8.5M, Dunleavy 10.6M. I don't think we really want to trade Foster and Ford and Dunleavy will not be traded because we don't want to take back players that would eat that much into the the available dollars we would have for this summer if they just aren't going to be heavily used.
So, with only a few days left until the trade deadline, I'd say our chances of swinging a trade are fading fast.
