I'm content with our frontcourt... McBob/Roy is a perfect combo. And I'm obviously good with Granger on the wing. The backcourt, though, still needs work. DC needs to figure out how to move sideways, and Dunleavy is a natural 3 playing out of position. I think (and have thought all year) that he'd be far more effective in the second unit, where his playmaking skills can be fully used. The dude needs the ball to be effective, and in the first unit he's the 4th option.
But I've understood why it hasn't happened yet. I like Brandon a lot and have wanted to see him get the start over Dun all season, but I get why there's been hesitation. Brandon's been McKey-esque (in the infuriating way).
But a new option has emerged, far sooner than I expected. It's Paul George, and it's time for the rook to get the start. Roy/Josh/Granger/George/DC? Yes please. Let Foster/Tyler/Dunleavy/BrandonJones/AJ round out the ten-man rotation.
In summary: START PAUL GEORGE!
Welcome to Pacers Digest! New around here? Here are three tips for making the forum a great place to talk about Pacers basketball.
Log in. Even if you want to read instead of post, it's helpful because it lets you:
Change your signature options. You can hide all signatures by choosing "Settings" (top right) then "General Settings" (middle left) and unchecking the box "Show Signatures" (in the "Thread Display Options" area).
Create an ignore list. I know it may seem unneighborly. But you're here to talk about the Pacers, not argue with someone who's just looking for an argument. Most of the regular users on here make use (at least occasionally) of the "Ignore" feature. Just go to "Settings" -> "Edit Ignore List" and add the names.
