    Default Locker Room Restaurant

Got 2 courtside seats and a parking pass off Ebay for $100 and will be going to the Minnesota game on Friday. Can anyone tell me about the Locker Room Restaurant?

Food is better than expected and served quickly. You can walk in there at any point around the game, and if you head in there within a couple minutes of the end of the 1st half, you can eat and be back before a minute or two of the 3rd.... there's plenty of screens inside if you are running behind.

    Food is sometimes served quickly.

From all the times I've been there throughout the years it's been 50/50, and a lot of people on hear complain the food isn't that great, but I've never had a problem with it.

I love that they let folks watch the 2nd round of the draft in there and offer free drinks. That's pretty cool.

Its alright. Experience it once. But I will never go back. I got to ride an elevator with Clark Kellogg and Danny's wife coming back up.

The Locker Room Restaurant is sky high price wise and not really that great of food. Cheeseburger is 10 bucks and that's not even including fries. Hardee's burgers on the main level are better and cheaper.

It is fun to eat down in the restaurant sometimes though.

Thanks. I will probably stick with my pre-game trip to Circle Center mall and then may try the restaurant after the game. Supposedly players go there.

Pretty excited that it is Darren Collison bobblehead night!

I think they usually go to Mo's or Harry & Izzy's.

Love that Collison bobblehead commercial. Darren has turned into one of my favorite players on this team. And he's getting better.

Everything about the Locker Room Restaurant has basically been said, but I'll add 2 more things. If you're not aware, Bird autographs tickets during timeouts. He sits in section 2 next to the tunnel leading to the restaurant. Second, if you head over to the restaurant with about 8 minutes left at halftime, the players head out from the locker room and you can get some high fives from them. It's pretty cool getting that close to them. Sometimes (though I don't know how often) if you catch someone coming out at the end by themselves, you can get an autograph or a picture.

speaking of the back to back playing against Milawaukee should be interesting under Vogel. I hope Roy just destroys Bogut and we finally get that monkey off our back. They always seem to have our number but I don't think that will be the case under Vogel.

no chance of that happening. the MIL game is the 5th game this week. pacers legs will be shot by then. by the 2nd half, they will look like an over 35 team playing in a high school tournament.

not their fault, but the milwaukee game is a schedule loss.

I was at PF Changs a few years back and Granger got some carry out less than 2 hours before tip. I haven't been back since, so I don't know if it's a regular occurrence or not.

As was mentioned in a previous post, if you wait in the tunnel that runs back to the locker room after the game you can get a chance to meet some of the players and coaches. Some will come out and do autographs and pictures and if you're nice enough about it you might get a pair of shoes or something if you ask around with the employees. Definitely did see Scot Pollard eating there after a Rockets game a few years back but that's been it for me, although I've only been back there a few times.

A funny story (to me at least): Years ago in the mid 90's I went to Denny's in Castleton for a Sunday morning/afternoon brunch with my family. It was like less than an hour before a Pacers game was to tip off downtown and as I'm waiting for a table, who walks in the door but Dale Davis. I was too starstruck to say anything and my brother insisted it couldn't be him because the game was basically about to start. Then when we got home we turned on the radio to the postgame show and Mark Boyle mentioned that Dale had to sit out most of the game because he arrived late for unknown reasons. But I always knew the reason was because he was at Denny's.

I had a burger from there once.

    It was actually pretty good.

Plus you stand by the aisle to enter the restaurant, you can talk with the players if they stop by.

I haven't been to the Locker Room on a regular basis for a couple of years, but a few years ago I was in there for most games. Food is okay (My opinion was that the Varsity Club had better food.). One of the cool things a few years ago was that if you hung out after the game long enough several players and Pacers staff would come in and hang out for a bit. Jeff Foster and Primoz hung out with their wives almost every night and David Craig use to have little mini parties that always livened the joint up. Like I said thought that was a few years ago, so I don't know how the atmosphere has changed....it's still a very cool place to hang pre game and at halftime I'm sure.

Okay since no one has asked the OP. how did you manage to get courtside tickets for $100 off ebay. THey are usually around $500-$700 on there for the crappy teams.

Obviously I don't know the answer to your question. But all courtside tickets are not the same. There are the seats just besides the team benches. There is the first row along the court. And then there are the seats under the basket and then the seats which are still considerd courtside but maybe rows 2 through I believe 5 or 6.

So as they say prices will vary. All "courtside tickets" are not the same

I believe 1-7 are considered "courtside" with Best Locker Room access. I remember getting "courtside" seats last year for renewing and they were row 7.

One thing I hate about "courtside seats" they are so close together and the seats are so narrow you are packed in much tighter than the regular seats. If you sit next to an average sized male one of you has to lean forward a little while the other can lean back otherwise you are almost holding hands.

As UB said, all courtside seats are not created equal and I will not have my shoes on the court. Still got a great deal though since these are section 4 row 4. There does not appear to be a row 3.

Was waiting for the bid to rise and put in a much higher price. Not for sure why they were so cheap. Just hoping I do not get to the game and find Ashton Kutcher there telling me I got Punk'd.

Section 4 is behind the Pacers bench
