I don't really think that we need to have people owning multiple franchises, though if you would like to switch to the Rockets, you can make up a team, and if no one else above you in the drafting order says that they want the Rockets, you can have them come Monday if we don't have a replacement.
you go to WhatIfSports Then follow these easy steps.
1. Register (its free)
2. Go to SimLeagues and set up a free trial team.
3. Research stats and such on any site you wish.
4. Go back to What If and find the salaries of the players (keep it under 70 mil) you want by clicking on add a player.
5. Go to SimMatchup: Pro Basketball
6. Make your team.
7. Give it a name.
8. There is no number 8. your done.
JONeal7... I am glad that you want to play. You can pick any franchise that hasn't been picked yet (Houston/San Diego Rockets are available again since RimBender dropped out)... Then make the best team that you can and keep the total salary under $70 million.
Pig Nash pretty much covered how to use the site. If you have any questions you can PM me or probably anyone else in the game. Please let me know if you are going to play by tomorrow morning so that I can make up a schedule.
Im going 2 play...but is this like yahoo? where you got a league # and you join that league or do i just sign up and you guys are already there? but yeah im in.
Nope, no league number.. we didn't want to pay to do that so we just created teams in the SimMatchup part of it. I will be running a regular season round robin type of tournament and then the best 8 teams will make it into the playoffs.
CRAP...I don't have time to make my team up...I only added a few ...any way i can get an extension? i have 2 leave now ...if not oh well
JONeal7... a first I was going to suggest that you could forfeit your games until you make your team, but that isn't really fair to everyone else and could make a difference in a close playoff race... So, I'm gonna have to say no.
I could reschedule the games that you missed, but only up to a point (at which a 13 team round robin schedule differs from a 14 team round robin schedule, plus its really hard to make up schedule for this many teams).
