Man this Coach does not have any sort of predetermined depth chart. That is why he is a terrible coach.

I have a bad feeling he's only gonna play like 7 minutes in the whole game and then the keys will be turned over to Jeff and Solo at center.

Hopefully we manage to build a big lead so we won't have to see Posey come in and chuck up shots and Tyler plays a lot of time.

Please Josh, have such an incredible game that:

    1. The coach is forced to play you in subsequent games or
    2. The coach is removed for not playing you in subsequent games

good to see the josh/tyler pairing.

there does seem to be s synergy and energy with them. i hope they play hard and that the hard play is infectious.

GSW is a good team for josh to play. i just hope this works. i'm tired of watching the pacers lose.

Our arena, their arena, Rucker park, it just doesn't matter. We're bigger, longer, younger, faster, and hungrier.

Better make that 12 dunks, with 2 of them being And 1's. Cause thats the only way Josh is getting 26.

I am just excited to see the Pacers play, going to the game tonight at the Oracle. $10 dollar tickets. I was hoping to see Big Roy, but I will take what I can get!

Why didn't he start against Griffin??

I think I've finally figured how JOB determines the rotation, he's got this 8 ball that's magic and answers questions for him. He traded his hairline for it.

Can he wear a big brown wig and a fake beard tonight?

He would dominate with that kind of swagger.

It would be pretty sweet, but likely just means Hansbrough goes back to being the odd man out

I'm excited to see how Tyler and Josh do well playing together at the same time.

Josh must be aggressive which he is.

We're not facing any dangerous big men tonight so both guys can take advantage and play well.

David Lee is decent and they can't sleep on him on the defensive end because he will score, but other than that, he's not going to be a huge threat.

    Of course.

In Jim O'Brien land, there is no reason to have 2 actual PFs playing the rotation.

Not only that, no young, core guys in a rotation together sharing time.

We need small ball and a veteran in that mix.

Since the Knicks game this has been our relatively consistent rotation.

    Obriens preferred 9 man rotation:
    George
    foster
    Ford
    Rush
    Collison
    Ganger
    Hansborough
    Dunleavy
    Hibbert

    10th man
Posey or Mcroberts depending on wether we go small ball. Posey replaces granger if we are small and Josh appears to be the backup traditional 4.

    Centers
We have three players that only play center and Josh seems to be below all three in the pecking order:
    1 Hibbert
    2 Foster
    3 Solo
    4 Josh

Not sure Why Josh leapfrogs tonight, but I don't know who the Golden State starting center is either. The comment about consistent lineups a poster mentioned earlier does make sense. The magic eightball smear, however is very unoriginal.

So are Hibbert, Collison and Hansboro not young? Looks like three young guys regularly starting to me, 4 tonight.

Then I assume your unhappy about Josh, AJ and Stephenson; everyone else is in the rotation.

    Josh's situation is confusing .

AJ and Stephenson are our 3/4 string point guards, they are a second round rookie and second year, second round draft pic. I am not saying TJ is better than price but it is debatable and you can't condemn somebody for disagreeing with you.

No formulas, nothing crazy, just players getting beat for jobs wether you agree with the coaches evaluation or not.

It's not debatable. It's actually hilarious that people think it's debatable. And that's not even saying Price is good..he's just clearly better than TJ.

Stephenson..is probably not ready. But I do have a problem with not playing him for defensive reasons. This is the same coach that played Troy 35 MPG and is playing Dun 30. Defense is obviously not part of the criteria for playing time.

Im not dissin Jim, I would honestly like to know why he chose to start McBob over Foster? Since Foster is the primary back up C in the rotation you would think he should start. I dont know for sure, but Im guessing that Jim wants to see the Tyler/McBob combo.

I think Jim's idea is to keep all the players on their toes as one never knows the rotation with Jim. If true this can be either good or bad depending on the player

I actually like what I have seen of price, I just don't think it is ridiculous to consider that Tj may have earned the backup job without favoritism. Tj isn't as bad as people make him out to be.
