Default This is assuming Denver wants to blow it all up

But if they are, this may not be the sexiest thing we could do, but it could theoretically work out very well for us.

We send the expiring contracts of Dunleavy and Foster to Denver.

We get Nene and Al Harrington.

Depending on how hot Denver is to move on, that may be enough, but expect our '11 First to be included.

Now no one is high on getting Al back for Round 3, but to me this is worth it because both could give us a lot more talent at the 4 and 5.

Nene becomes the long-sought "Player X" that can be a monster 4 next to Roy, and can easily play center himself.

Al isn't desirable, but since you have him, he's a great luxury item on your bench.

Next year, you could be looking at this:

Darren Collison and AJ Price holding down the point guard spot.

Danny Granger, Paul George, Brandon Rush, and Dahntay Jones at the wings.

Nene, Roy Hibbert, Tyler Hansbrough, Al Harrington, and possibly Josh McRoberts (he's a FA) up front.

    Most nights, you start this:

    Darren Collison
Brandon Rush (or Paul George if he's ready)
    Danny Granger
    Nene
    Roy Hibbert

Combine that with a (God willing) new head coach/staff, and you really might have something here.

I think that's easily worth swallowing that horrible Harrington contract.

Im sure that the Nuggets would want a young player back also or picks. Nene is having a career yr his value is at an all time high.

They can have Tyler too then and you re-sign Josh.

Very solid trade.. Nene is very underrated he has something like a .600 fg%? Runs the floor, plays defense, just a beast.

This is a great deal. I would throw in Josh or Tyler and our first. This is assuming we can get Nene to resign in the off season.

All we would need to do in the off season is resign Nene and get a new coach.

People need to stop comparing Josh and Tyler as the same.

Tyler is clearly the better player and we're way less likely to trade him than Josh.

I was not comparing Josh and Tyler. I don't see where you got that from. I was just stating that I would trade either of them to get Nene.

Nene would be a hell of a forward/center for us.. That said, is it worth taking on Al's contract especially considering that Nene isn't getting any younger?

This should probably be a last resort.
We need better than solid. No JJ Redicks, Andray Blatche, Mike Dunleavy type guys to have big roles on our team.

Since we take on a lot of contract both in terms of money and years I'd like to add Posey in the deal.

    What about
    Dun + Jeff + Posey + Lance + our 1st (roughly 24M)
    for
    Nene + Al + JR

    Should work salary wise
