Default Green Bay at Philadelphia - Wild Card Weekend - 1/9/11

(10-6) The Packers started off the season strong, but lost QB Aaron Rodgers for a few games due to concussion, and since returning and qualifying for the playoffs, Rodgers and the Pack look poised to make some noise in the playoffs.

(10-6) Around mid-season this Eagles team was described by some as a Super Bowl contender and QB Michael Vick was an early favorite for MVP. The team hasn't played as well as of late, and lost last week to rival Dallas. Will they be able to resume the success they had earlier in the year?

Resting everyone against Dallas makes the loss to Minnesota worth it considering we would have the three seed even if we won out.

I think the Eagles will win this one, but I'm not convinced. They will need Vick and DeSean Jackson to have big games, and can't afford to spot GB an early lead. That defense is hard to mount a comback on.

The ref just threw his cap instead of the flag.

That is what they are suppose to do if someone steps out of bounds

Ya here are the two times ref's throw thier hats

    (1) After one official notices 2 penalties on the same play, a 3rd penalty will be called by throwing his hat in the air.

    (2) If a player goes out of bounds and returns inbounds during a play, a hat will be thrown. Because he can't be the first person to touch the ball or that is a penalty. I guess they throw the hat to remember he ran out of bounds.

Shot ourselves in the foot way too much today. Some stupid penalties, terrible redzone and 3rd down defense, missed fg's and Vick's int at the end.

That Packers defense is good. Offense is good, but I think it can be stopped as when the Eagles really needed to stop them, they did.
