Does everyone want JOB fired? I can't tell from the overall mood on the bored. With all of the different thread subjects on the front page it's too hard to tell since I couldn't find any fire JOB threads. The only thing I found was just quality basketball talk.
This is all very true but it doesn't mean ever member has to start a thread as to why they feel he should be fired. If every thread about firing JOB was put into one it would be 200 pages long. With the players we have this team isn't going anywhere in the East with or without JOB.
I can't find one person who wants to keep him, honestly (meaning those who care enough to even think about it). You either have the group that just hates everything he does or the group that thinks his tenure has ran its course. Both seem to think its time for him to go. Is that the question?
I don't see him getting fired this season. Despite our "crappy" play, we're still 7th in the East.
I can't remember the last coach who took a nonplayoff team into the playoffs and still got fired mid-season.
Obie will get fired only if we have a serious, serious losing streak.
I think that's pretty much the case. I doubt JOB will be back after this season, but I also don't expect him to be fired this season unless the team has a serious collapse and/or the players just totally give up on him.
I don't see a team that is on pace to end a 4 year playoff drought firing the coach mid-season. Stranger things have happened, I suppose, but I'm just using precedence as guide to my guess.
