I, for one, like this as long as we can get a restraining order on Eddy Curry after we waive him.

Sounds like a keeper to me.

Might free up some playing time for PG.

PF and C would get pretty tight on minutes between Hibbert, Foster, McBob, Solo, Hans (not to mention an under sized Posey) and you'd be adding Randolph and Curry.

Or at least see if you could add Solo as going to the Knicks.

The Pacers would need to work on anther trade.
Lance + Starting SG = Awesome

    Now really free Lance!

As a huge backer for Randolph, I wouldn't mind this trade. It gets Dahntay and Ford out, secures (another) veteran backer for Roy. And if you throw in Solo (which I did and it checks out), they get someone to stand behind Amar'e, Turiaf and Mozgov. Their cap room decreases by 1.5mil, but Solo's contract is expiring, so there's no obligation to keep him around after the Knicks (unlike us) realize that he's better off ruining someone else's franchise [/harsh].

Regardless, I wouldn't mind seeing this work out, especially since a GSW-era Randolph (or at least one with more minutes) would work wonders on our team, and Curry might be the tough veteran support we need at the 5.

Our arena, their arena, Rucker park, it just doesn't matter. We're bigger, longer, younger, faster, and hungrier.

Yeh, that's what I went back and edited, and I still feel stupid for it. Regardless, would you rather put the ball in Solo's ridiculously slippery hands? The least he can do is give Roy someone of size to practice with. And/or be another asset in a trade, if someone else is as desperate as we.
