Default This is a kick -- WEC Lightweight finish

The UFC is absorbing the WEC, and the lighter weight classes in WEC are working to establish a champ or challenger for the newly merged org's belts.

This fight between WEC champ Ben Henderson (w/ ponytail) and challenger Anthony Pettis went five very competitive rounds, and concluded with a kick you should check out.

One of the best kick's I've ever seen. It was one of the best moments in MMA this year i think. I am glad to see WEC and UFC together. It doesn't seem like they are screwing WEC over at all. It was coming sooner than later.

I've been surprised at the number of UFC fans I've talked to that have no clue who people like Jose Aldo are...just because they don't get Versus on cable. The lighter weight classes going on the UFC cards should open some eyes.

I didn't follow WEC much until my dad told me about Urijah Faber and how he's from Sacramento. He made the rounds on local radio there and well, Urijah is just a great guy. That was probably a bit more than 2 years ago.

Jose Aldo is just a beast. I don't see anyone really challenging him. His leg kicks are insane. Honestly Faber may have been his best challenger, it was a close fight until his leg got f'ed. Can't believe he stuck in for all 5 rounds. I just think the combination of speed, skill and strength Aldo has is unmatched by anyone. If you are talking about best fighters pound for pound, he has to be right up there with GSP and Silva.
