It was a great streak and probably a career ending one.

Now its Manning's and while he'll probably never break it its ironic that 2+9+7=18

You know they will still talk about him the rest of the year, and probably during the off-season as well, right?

Haha, sorry, I don't like it either. Post-MNF there was like 10 minutes of Brett talking about NOT playing in a game.

I know. I didn't see the end of the game and turned the TV on to find out who won. After a couple minutes I gave up and went to bed.

I think this is (finally) Favre's last hurrah. Unlike the conclusion to last season, this season really leaves little reason for him to return.

Except to end on a better note.

..... let us all pray to whoever we pray to (if nobody, just hope) that I'm entirely wrong here.

Maybe a "better enough" way for him to go out is to get in a series or two in one of the last games this season. I can't see anyway the Vikings post-Childress or even Favre considering the injuries he has had will have any thoughts about there being a next year.
The poster "pacertom" since this forum began (and before!). I changed my name here to "Slick Pinkham" in honor of the imaginary player That Bobby "Slick" Leonard picked late in the 1971 ABA draft (true story!)
