While the folks who only know Jethro Tull through classic rock radio stations and their "only the hits" play lists will go for Aqualung, I am going to ask eveyone to expand their mind a bit and give a listen to "My Sunday Feeling". It has the be the best (maybe only) hangover recovery song I know of.
"Aqualung", of course. "Thick as a Brick" is not bad as well as "My Sunday Feeling" as travmil said.
I saw on PD II someone said that "he" was playing the flute. He is Ian Anderson, the band is "Jethro Tull".
I much prefer PD over his lyrics.
Meh. If I never hear a Jethro Tull song again, I will not be upset about it.
Ok so did anybody else try to come here last night and on the front page had jethro tull fan page????
Cup of Wonder is awesome lyrically, that one is probably my favorite Tull song.
Must say I never heard of him till last night. Considering the picture on the site was quite creepy, and the title 'Jethro Tull fan page' sounds strange-ish for unfamiliar person, I thought it was some new B-horror movie at first glance.
Nothing wrong with Jethro Tull or Ian Anderson, but....
Shouldn't this be in the "off topic" forum?
do you have a favorite illness, favorite skin irritant, or favorite thing to smell when it is rotting?
The poster "pacertom" since this forum began (and before!). I changed my name here to "Slick Pinkham" in honor of the imaginary player That Bobby "Slick" Leonard picked late in the 1971 ABA draft (true story!)
To Cry You a Song, from Benefit....or maybe Sossity, from the same album....or Teacher...or....How many favorites do I get?
Ballism, able's avatar (still?) is the cover painting from Aqualung.

my previous avatar was beastie, no idea where that one is. and yes i'm a tull fan, and i admit to having seen them about 50 times live
to many to call one out, but "wounded, old and treacherous" is defintiely among my favs, tull is not only aqualung, i can advise you to listen to roots to branches and some of his solo work, which is quite classical.
anyway, sorry i mixed up sites, then again, you would have seen my site otherwise, as the dns servers for the domain pacersdigest were wrong, if such happens again, don't forget that www.pacersfans.com also point to this site.
P.S. I think this also marks the first ever post of me in this forum
