Default New England at Detroit - Thanksgiving Day Special - 11/25/10

(8-2) After holding off another Colts rally last week, the Patriots face the Lions on a short week. Will fatigue become a concern?

(2-8) The Lions have played better than their record shows, can they make it interesting?

Lots of memories watching the Lions at my Grandparents' farm north of Detroit. Can't say that I ever remember them winning. I do distinctly remember when the lost in OT in '80.

The Pats are 8-2 going into today's game. Wish they were 7-3, but that unfortunately isn't the case.

I think Detroit is getting REALLY close to being pretty good for the first time since Barry was there...

"But, first, let us now praise famous moments, because something happened Tuesday night in Indianapolis that you can watch a lifetime’s worth of professional basketball and never see again. There was a brief, and very decisive, and altogether unprecedented, outburst of genuine officiating, and it was directed at the best player in the world, and that, my dear young person, simply is not done."

Brady is making a pretty solid case for MVP.

Sorry for the foul up on the record, guys. I wish they were only 8-3 now, too.
