    Default IND/GS

    How about this?

    IND gets:

    Andris Biedrins 4 years/$36 million

    GS gets:

    Jeff Foster, Dahntay Jones

Not sure why the Warriors do this - they seem pretty happy with him now that Nellie is gone. His free throw percentage still blows but he's being more aggressive on the offensive end with Lee and Adrian there to rebound.

He is making 9Mil per year for 4 years? They need to be giving us unprotected first rounders to take that contrct. Plus, there is the matter of resigning Roy, DC, Rush maybe, I wouldn't want all that money tied up in Biedrens.

Why do we want Biedrins, melli? What does he bring to the table?

I like Beans. 4 years $36m is a bit much for him, but not excessively I think. I'd certainly use one of our expiring contracts for him, though I'm pretty certain GS would ask for an additional asset (pick or young player) as well.

As to why GS would do it... I'm not really sure either. Because they're (perpetually) rebuilding? Because the new ownership wants to bring in new players?

Biedrins is a good rebounder, a quick, athletic big man on defense, but with not much skill on offense. Think of him as the Latvian Jeff Foster. We could play him with Hibbert in a twin tower look, or play him behind Hibbert as the backup C. In short, he's the 4/5 player we've been looking for.
