I thought I read an article where there was a substantial donation of around 50-60% of that amount.
It's entirely possible. I honestly have no idea. That was a guess.

It was a donor by the name of "Big Ten Network."

I hope i am wrong and they have enough time to build a defense while he is still here but i don't see it.
What basis do you have for that remark? None.

Gunner Kiel is light years better than Ben Chappell and if CHappell could put up big numbers playing for a terrible coaching staff imagine what Gunner will do playing for a competent one. I don't care if IU wins 58-55, as long as they WIN.

Agreed about his homerism, but Stanford was like 1-11 before Harbaugh/Luck got there, their defense (and offense) were a hot mess, and look how fast things turned around for them. Now I'm not saying that Wilson is Harbaugh or Kiel is Luck, but with a new coaching staff and a new scheme, things can change quickly.

I played 7 on 7 against kiel and Columbus east last year and he is the real deal. IU is getting an absoluteabsolute beast at qb. They let us drop 8 guys and he still picked us apart, though my team was 2A compared to a 5A team lol.

Looks like IU has contacted Derek Willis.

I'd laugh my butt off if he actually came to Bloomington.

Has anyone been watching the elite 11 QB camp? Gunner Kiel didnt even make the top 11. Trent Dilfer choose a guy going to BYU and one kid with no offer over him. The kid going to FL ST is going to be great IMO Jameis Winston has all the skills.

But Neal Burcham doesn't(or didn't until the show) have one offer and was in the elite 11 over Gunner. Maybe Trent sees himself in him IDK.

Im confused Rivals has Winston rated #1 at position and they have Gunner rated #1

I'm not gonna get caught up in those rankings. Gunner has been the number 1 QB in this class for a while.

Yeah whatever his ranking is he is a hell of a lot better than anyone on our current roster.

    Move-in day 2011

As a longtime Bloomington resident, I know better than to get anywhere near campus on move-in day.

I feel for those kids today, and even more for their parents. Hot and humid with a high of 95º predicted, and heat index could get up to 104º. Possible late afternoon relief from the heat may come in the form of strong, hail-bearing thunderstorms.
