Default Indianapolis at Philadelphia - Game Thread - 11/7/10

(5-2) Even with a depleted team last week, the Colts were able to get revenge on the Texans, and take over first place in the AFC South, but will have their hands full against Michael Vick and the Eagles.

(4-3) Coming off the bye week, the Eagles hope to be a tad bit healthier, and some of their wishes have came true, as Michael Vick is set to start.

First offensive play of the game: 62 yard run for McCoy. Two plays later Jackson catches TD. 7-0.

Manning pass one: incomplete. Manning pass two: interception, returned for 33 yards. Eagles FG 10-0.

Colts get to their own 49 and McAfee punts it to the Eagle's 1 yard line. Eagles 3rd and 7 on their own 4 yard line, Vick completes 58 yard pass to Jackson. Completion plus a penalty gets the Eagles inside the 10 and the Eagles score a FG. 13-0.

    I think that covers it.

I hope Collie is OK. Always seems like bad things happen to good people? Lord works in mysterious ways I guess?

I didn't think it was intentional, but it was helmet to helmet.

Praying for Austin Collie...it was not intentional, but it was helmet to helmet.

And as always, Philly fans are the classiest in the NFL. Congrats Philly, boo the call for a few seconds. That's fine. But don't continually boo. Whether they want to admit it or not, they booed Collie and the injury. Then when he got carted off the field, there was nothing more than a faint clap.

The fans, more than anything, **** me off. Ridiculous.
Stop quoting people I have on ignore!

The helmet contact on the Eagles' #42 I think it was, was what made it illegal, I am guessing.

They were not booing Collie and the injury. They were booing the ref's blowing the call.

And on the helmet to helmet, at that point Collie was a runner and helmet to helmet contact is then legal.

But with the new rules is it still legal? I remember them saying it was on TV, but I'm not sure.

Helmet to helmet is NEVER legal, no matter how many steps a guy takes!

Like I said, that wasn't his intent, but it still happy, and that call is a flag 100% of the time
