I guess if I really wanted to win games that bad we could try to scramble things and press. Other teams do it to us, but I really don't care for it or see the point at that level. The whole point of the games are to teach the game and get the basics down so the players are better at the next level. Trust me, I want to win, but I want my girls to do it by learning how to play real offense and defense.

I get annoyed how they let the younger players crowd each other and push and grab so much when they don't let them do that at the high school level. They let it go both ways, but it makes for an ugly game that frustrates both teams at times.

I'll let you all know how we do next week. At practice yesterday we did well playing man against the high school girls and ran a set zone play on offense well.

Hey all. I know I have not given an update lately, but it has been a really busy season. We got our first win today! It came down to literally the last second, the other team missed free throws that would have tied the game with no time left! We have really been out matched in every game except this one, a game against this same team we lost in double overtime, and one other game. The girls have toughed it out, played hard, and have done everything I have asked to their abilities. It was nice for them to finally get a payoff!
