Spurs need Tiago for nights like these.

Blazers @ Knicks has been an excellent game, very intense. Knicks winning the game with second chance points. Chandler has been terrific working the boards. McMillan keeping Batum on the bench too long for whatever reason.

10-2 run for Portland. Miller + Batum turn the game around. D'Antoni needs to calm down his team, they're too anxious, missing good opportunities because they want to force feed Chandler and Stoudemire. The perverse effect of the hot-hand believe at work.

Hornets playing solid defense on Manu this year. Okafor with decent D on Duncan.

Never has Duncan looked so slow. concerning- but you have to hope or believe that he's not playing at 100% right now. otherwise this could be bad/

    edit:

And when RJ comes in and scores 4 straight points..reinforces how hard the Spurs can be to guard if they have all of the big 4 on the floor.

Jefferson is so aggressive now. The rest of the big three need to pick it up

edit 2: Spurs cannot hit a single shot tonight.

Asik was an underrated acquisition for the Bulls. Quality backup center capable of playing excellent defense. Ditto for Mozgov with the Knicks.

Richard Jefferson leading the comeback for the Spurs. Wow. Never thought I'd type that this season.

another loss for Kuester. He yanked Ben Gordon off the floor in the 4th quarter and ran plays through tayshaun prince until the bulls had outscored us 21-6 in the 4th. Game over.

I've only watched the 4th quarter, but Chicago's defense has been superb. Very reminiscent of Boston.

Which is going to be the best defensive team in the NBA this season? Boston, Miami, Orlando, Charlotte, Milwaukee, Chicago, Los Angeles, San Antonio or Dallas?

Spurs can't be in the discussion until we see Tiago. He's now literally the make or break piece of the Spurs from being good to elite this year.

Chicago's defense was horrible in the 1st half, Detroit was up by double digits at one point.

Yep, Blair is not cutting it, his defense is horrible

Yeah, both San Antonio and Dallas are outside contenders. Top-10 defensive teams, maybe top-5. I actually like Dallas potential more. Splitter is essential to make the Spurs good, they need his quickness and speed.

Jennings very close to a triple double. Goden plays 13 minutes, Mbah-a-Moute 28... and the Bucks lead by double digits. I think I'll watch this one from the beginning...

    wow..
I turned the game off cause I thought it was a blowout by Detroit.

What is going on with that team? They have the talent, they were totally abusing Chicago earlier. Is it the coach? I thought you liked that guy Kstat?

I did. He's turned into a total moron.

He ran our offense repeatedly through Tayshaun Prince and Charlie V in the 4th quarter, even when it was obvious it wasn't working. Our two best players, Stuckey and Gordon, sat and watched them get mauled.

Kuester had a good season last year. Now? it's like he's trying to lose on purpose. He benches anybody that's playing well and leaves the guys struggling out there for as long as possible.

I can't fathom another coach just sitting and watching his team blow a 4th quarter lead like that. No timeouts. No substitutions. Just leave your reserve lineup out there minus Gordon to get destroyed.

He's been good defensively- the problem is that the entire set of Spurs bigs are super slow. They need Tiago- he will make the rest of their bigs much better defensively.

A tough loss but that's what happens when you don't shoot well in this league. The Pacers would have crushed the Spurs tonight.

I think the total overall upgrade of Tiago + new Jefferson might have more actual achieved potential than the tantalizing mix that Dallas brings- but if everyone on Dallas figures out who they are things will be very tough in the West.

Stop me if you head this before but Hasheem Thabeet sucks Memphis is 2-1 and he is a -39 in 38+ MP. But the other guys are good they lost the first game to the Hawks with no Gasol and then Z-Bo got hurt but then won the last with without him.

They beat the Minnesota by 20 tonight and had 22 steals, Conley went 14-7-11-7 and Darrell Arthur filling in after 3 games as a starter is hitting at 17 PPG they head out to play the Lakers Tuesday in which should be a real fun game for everyone to catch.

Do you think you guys will make a deal this season? No offense, but you don't look like you are going to make much noise this season. You think you will move Tayshaun? And what kind of deal are Pistons fans expecting to get out of him?

I don't know what to think anymore. Ben Gordon's called out Kuester's lack of adjustments after three games.

I'm just counting down the seconds until rip and tayshaun are gone. I'm also tired of Kuester's unwavering loyalty to guys that aren't playing well.

I'm really sick and tired of Ben Gordon going 8/10 and Rip going 2/10 and seeing Rip in the 4th quarter.

What's happened to him in the past few seasons? 5 or 6 years ago, it appeared as if that guy could not miss a ****ing shot within the arch. Did he get hurt or something? Did he just stop working on his game? Is he missing Billups?

I don't know. I think it's a mental thing with him. Ever since we brought in Gordon, Rip has been taking shots he normally wouldnt take. I think he's getting a little territorial with his starting job.
