Every player says they want to retire where they are. Unless they're saying they want to be traded. At the end of the day they will follow the money.

In this case Peja followed the horribad contract that he was offered. He didn't do anything "to the organization", unless there's something I completely missed. New Orleans offered him a contract we couldn't/wouldn't be willing to pay for him to stay, so he left. Simple.
But he verbaly said a week before free agency started he was gonna resign here at least LBJ said he didnt know.

As much as I want TJ gone..

I don't think the Peja/JOB mix would make us very happy..

i remember that. if he were a bigger-named player that played longer for us than what...47 games or something like that...I think he'd be known more as a "traitor" around here than what he is and has been to us thus far. From what I remember he didn't really do much for us back then, but as always, someone is always looking for something to complain about, so why not be PO'ed at Peja because other than that, we were in post-brawl mode with Stephen Jackson/Tinsley/etc playing Mafia Wars. lol

We'll just suffice it to say, I think you're misremembering the situation.

Just a FYI.....the Pacers decided to work out a S&T where the Pacers ended up with one of the biggest Trade Exceptions ( at least before the Lebron/Bosh did their S&T with the Heat for the Cavs/Raptors ) that eventually gave the option to make a trade that allowed them to get Al Harrington from the Hawks for a TPE and the 13th pick in that years draft. Yes, I know that Baby Al didn't work out for the Pacers but the Peja S&T and resulting TPE did allow the Pacers to make moves that they didn't have before.

On top of that....the Hornets significantly overpaid for Peja on the FA Market for some $12+ mil a year contract for 5 years. I'm glad that we didn't sign him....with 20/20 hindsight being crystal clear...given all the injuries that he subsequently had with the Hornets.....you should actually thank Peja for deciding to go for the $$$ instead of being loyal to the Pacers.

This is David West, he is the Honey Badger, West just doesn't give a *****....he's pretty bad *ss cuz he has no regard for any other Player or Team whatsoever.

i hated him when he was here i never wanted him. i was pointing that out that Bird and walsh really wanted him to stay so if we traded for him we wwould probly keep him on the inactive list and let his contract expire. by the way i love al harrington

Scola has been an absolute beast so far, but he's also been playing 35 minutes a game. Add on to that his time playing for Argentina over the summer and I'm afraid he's going to burn out and hit a wall before the All-Star break.

Love asks out, we give them Granger, and everyone wins.

I like it if we get a pick with Love is really good. But his defense is poor. He would shoot a million 3s with JOB as the coach also .but he is really young. Great passer would play well with hibbert. But dont know how we would score until JOB is gone we would have perfect personal for PnR offense.

I wouldn't trade Granger for him.

I think Minnesota will try and keep him off the market unless he does want out and same goes for us and Danny.

I'd offer PG+Expiring or 1st+Expiring....but not PG+1st+Expiring for KLove. But honestly, I have no idea why KLove would ask for a trade in the first place. The guy is finally getting all the touches he wants, essentially is the #1 or #2 Player on the Team....why would he want to leave that?

This is why he wants traded
because his coach is only playing him 25 mins and is still using him like last yr.(poorly) Also he doesnt let him finsh games. Puts Toliver in there for most of the 4th QT. I would be mad to if i was love. They trade jefferson to make u the guy and Rambis is not using him like he is the guy.

Well, everyone except the Pacers and Timberwolves. They still lose.

I'd trade them anyone, but Danny, Roy, and Darren (also trying to avoid trading Tyler, Josh, and Paul).

I think Love would be happy to come here and play with our young guys. He and Roy would make a great big man lineup.

The Pacers and Timberwolves GMs making a trade is like two clowns squirting themselves in the face with water guns....they don't know what they are doing and all we can do is sit back and laugh
