Default PD 10/11 wins and loses predictions

UB was talking about opening this thread but I decided to open it, make it simple I just want to know how many wins and loses you think the pacers are going to have this season and why.

note: this is not a general prediction thread just wins and loses

    34-48

I'm prone to sunshine in this thread every year and I'm still going to be optimistic. I think they'll only win 2 more games, but I think we'll see young guys getting better.

I think you'll see some momentum post allstar break, but meaningful momentum that applies to the core of players that will be here showing some impressive stuff.

I have a feeling the first two months are gonna be brutal though and they will dig quite a hole while they figure it out.

I think we'll realize by years end, Roy, DC, and Paul George are starters moving forward. Thats a pretty big accomplishment from where we were even 3-4 months ago.

So a good 34 wins, not the bad 32 wins of last year, imo.

Regardless, I think this will be a fun year to follow, trade deadline assets, young players playing, a coach in the hot seat, we should have much to discuss.

Every year Lucy holds that football for me to kick and then pulls it away at the last second
causing me to crash and burn. This year is going to be different though. I know the Pacers can finally stay healthy and Obrien will coach the talent he has better than he ever has.

So once again I make my Charlie Brown prediction the same as the past
    few years of .....

    41-41

Actually I really believe they could do it.

40-42 for me with a 9th seed is my logical guess. We once again get hot at the end of the season to get the 9nth seed. Which would be depressing unless we got into the playoffs.

43-39 is my heart felt, gutted guess. We are finally healthy and Roy and DC are a whole lot better. Danny is healthy throughout the season and we trade for a very good player at the deadline.

    0-82.

So that way, I can say that Jim exceeded expectations.

34-48. Sure the Pacers got better, but the growth isn't as good as the rest of the Eastern playoff teams.

I think I see this team as The Thunder's in 2008(The Thunder's record in 2008 was 23 wins and 59 loses), young team that did not know how to win had a possible all star/super star in KD and were putting the right young pieces around him, at this moment the Pacers have an All Star player in Granger and the Pacers are finally putting the pieces around him.

Paul George I think is going to take the franchise player title from Danny next year but like I said we have a young team that is learning how to play together, the beginning of the season is going to be brutal but I think that by the end we are going to be happy about what we are going to see next year.

Even though I don't expect them to win much this year, I expect them to be fun to watch.

I'm going with 0-82, that way each win will look better and better as the season rolls along.

So how many people's heads will explode if they go 0-82 and then lose the lottery, ending up with the 4th pick?

4th pick is better than the 9th, 10th or greater pick....
Nuntius was right. I was wrong. Frank Vogel has retained his job.

I am gonna stretch my expectations a little bit and say 42-40. It will be rough at first but when we get some time playing together we may surprise teams.

What the crap? 0-82 guesses? A logical and a heartfelt guess? Come on people, pick a real number and stick to it. The thread is only fun to pull up at the end of the year if people give real guesses.

31-51 is my guess. I think we are really going to struggle, but of course we will be juuust good enough to avoid a high lottery pick. I think we are going to miss Murphy a little more than people around here realize. I think Danny is going to miss a healthy chunk of games as per his usual. I think Collison will start out slow, but will come on strong around game 20 or so and start being who we hoped he would be. I don't think Obie coaches the team next season. I think Paul George will go through a lot of ups and downs. I think Hibbert will have a breakout year. I think our love affair with Josh McRoberts will shift to Tyler Hansbrough before the All-Star break.

That didn't appear to be the case the other night in Minnesota.

    38-44

The climb back to .500 and beyond finally begins in earnest.

If they finish .500, I'll be estatic. If they make the playoffs even under .500 I'd be estatic. It would seem like a stepping stone year. I say next year is the year they make noise, if there is a next year, that is.

I'm all about lettin' the sunshine in... 44-38... we play atrocious out of the gate per usual, get to a mark of like 6-13, then it becomes a FUN ride that takes us into the post season.

I want the Heat. This is at least my 5th post with those words in it.
