Not bad, but then again not great. Thanks for your support. I hope you're doing better as well.

    Things are good.

Except I sold some tickets and the freaking post office was supposed to deliver them yesterday and my trackign number has not even showed them as being picked up yet

What is up with the USPS sucking so bad as of late?

Not only the USPS. I had FedEx deliver my new Macbook Pro to my neighbor the other day. Of course, I used the tracking number and saw it had been "delivered" for two days before I got it. The neighbors never even told me! I had to go over and ask them if they got anything and they nonchalantly said they got it the day before and gave it to me.

That is on your neigbors, and that is kind of rude of them.

I have had mail delevered to my neighbors before, and that is policiy (I like it better then leaving it on my front step)

But yeah, common courtesy would say "Hey red, a box was delevered today, would you like it". You shoul dnot have had to go over and initiate that convo

FWIW, I just got a call from a inspector general at the USPS

They are going to investigate the packages that went missing (they labeled them as stolen property)

I am really happy to see some form of customer service does exist.

Had a similar issue a couple of months ago with a fishing reel and rod shipped from Michigan at the same time, from the same place. The rod arrive three days later. The reel never showed. They told the guy that shipped it to wait 30 days before they would declare it a missing package (Really? Thirty days before they figure out they lost your ****?). To this date, it still has not been found. I'm not sure if they ever sent him any restitution or not...

"But, first, let us now praise famous moments, because something happened Tuesday night in Indianapolis that you can watch a lifetime’s worth of professional basketball and never see again. There was a brief, and very decisive, and altogether unprecedented, outburst of genuine officiating, and it was directed at the best player in the world, and that, my dear young person, simply is not done."

Yeah, I am a little upset that it happened, but frankly I am not sure I can expect much.

Sure an investigation is great, but short of them catching someone on camera opening these packages (or with the first one just putting in in their car) there is not much the IG can do.

Just a shame it happened in the first place. Someone from USPS called me today and asked if this would deter me from using the USPS in the future. Sadly it has. I still use them for envelopes I need to send out (it is easy to just stop by the post office) but for any packages I have started going to UPS or FedEX.
