i still think that Bird brought Inferno in as a role player for the long term......specifically beyond JO'Bs tenure given the length of his contract. The only way that I see Inferno or Posey being moved is if we take back a contract that lasts beyond this season. Otherwise, I think that he is in Bird's long term plans.

Outside of waiving Solo, if we were to do a "2fer1" deal......my guess is that the most likely candidate would be Dunleavy ( along with Solo ). Between now and the regular season.....if it looks like he's returned to form and is healthy, his trade value will go up.
It might be true that Jones was originally brought in to be a long term role player, but it isn't like he was given a $5-7 million contract. He was given a $2.5-2.9 million which is the kind of contract you give a person that you aren't confident in but are willing to take a small chance. Personally I think Jones proved he was too one dimensional and combining that with his relatively small contract Bird will most likely be more than willing to admit the mistake and trade him.

Odd, I did most of my email replies on a Blackberry while travelling, and I managed to frequently engage the use of the English language. I suppose I should've used shorthand and told my employer to 'deal with it.'

The fact that its on the front page of RealGM means that this rumor actually has some merit, correct? More than just speculation.

Don't be so catty. If you don't like the way he posts put him on ignore. You wouldn't be the first to do so.

This getting on him (pacers4ever) for his English is getting rather tired at this point.

Hicks, and a couple of others (including me) made a sincere effort once. He's done better at times since then, yet he also made it clear he won't be perfect. Get over it or ignore him. Hell, I'm getting annoyed at every time he posts someone does it. You're beating a dead ****ing horse to oblivion. At this rate posts complaining about his English will surpass "Fire OB" posts soon. Give it a damn rest.

All this is is some dude copied and pasted a portion of the Wells article we all read earlier today.

I bet Wells just asked a PR guy and he told him that a sg would be the first to go, of course after TJ.

Or you could just ingore those complaining about him....

Me, I am used to short-hand, I just really hate it. I catch myself using it at times, but I also feel there is a time and place for everything. That is just me though.

I will offer this service. I will translate all of any posters posts for the low fee of $4.99 a month. Just PM me and I will hook you up.

Maybe package the two Jones boys in a deal and get a PF in return or trade Brandon and Solo for a PF.

We'll need to take on another large contract if we try and move TJ + Solo and Brandon or Dahntay.

How about all of the people who have an issue with his English just ignore him since they don't like what what he says on every subject, and in every single post. As opposed to me ignoring a lot of people over a single subject. Then half of the topics wouldn't be cluttered with this repetitive mess.

At first he got defensive and complained about grown men having nothing better to do than to pick on him for his English when Hicks and others were initially just trying to help him. At this point however it's getting to the point of childish "picking on" and "mocking". It's rather sad how rude people can be behind a monitor. None of you would act like this to his face over anything in person. He could very well have been more correct in his initial reaction than I thought. Rather disappointing.

So, what was this thread about?
Don't ask Marvin Harrison what he did during the bye week. "Batman never told where the Bat Cave is," he explained.

The story about getting a resume written in crayon last week is true. We also got one written in "chat speak". The person had a college degress from a pretty respected college. Scary....very scary
