Without looking, can anyone tell me the Charlotte Bobcats PG rotation?
Once finding out what it is, even if you must look, can one tell me why they wouldn't want TJ?
DJ Augustin, Shaun Livingston, Sherron Collins.
Livingston is a hit&hope signing. His only NBA level talent is making plays off the pick'n'roll and he's a massive defensive liability defending PGs (he struggled with quick PGs even before the injury). He's more of a ball-handling wing.
Augustin regressed as a player in his 2nd season. I'm dubious about point-guards who get worse under Larry Brown. He hasn't shown the ability to be a starter in the NBA.
The other guy is a rookie. I liked him more in the SL (played tough defense and made shots) than when I saw him in college, but he's very small and not up to much as a playmaker/floor-general.
Not a lot of promise here.
They've been trying to swap Diaw for a PG. Would the Pacers be interested in that? If he were expiring, they should jump on it, but considering he has 2 years left in his contract, I don't think they should - Diaw can be a very good player in the right situation, but he's a very poor rebounder at the PF position. Not worth it.
