Default Question for Reds fans/Cincinnati Natives

Just gonna copy & paste from my original message to duke...

My buddies and I are heading to Cincy for the the final weekend of the regular season, for my buddy Brad's bachelor party. We're getting there Friday afternoon and are looking for some good spots to hit in downtown Cincy. Our hotel is right in downtown, so we're looking for stuff either right in the heart of downtown or close to GABP. I assume you're somewhat familiar with the area, so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. We'd prefer great pubs over night clubs, and any good restaurants that you would recommend. I'm definitely trying a SkyRosa at GABP, even if it kills me.

Like I said, Newport at the Levee has some good bars that are open late.

Yup, a whole building full of them and then some. Or you could head into downtown Cincinnati on Main Street. There are several blocks packed with nothing but bars on both sides of the road. While I have never had a single problem down there, I would consider it to be quite a bit more risky than Newport. As long as you are in a group, and aware of your surroundings, you will be fine. There are plenty of cops on the streets down there.
