I never look for happiness in a team losing but I'm giddy that both the Titans and the Cowboys both lost today in convincing fashion. Both those teams get irrational love and pumping up, seemingly every year, and it's great to see both of them fail...

Jets take the lead as the 3rd quarter winds down. 21-14.

The Jason Campbell era may have just ended for Oakland. Never forget.

Denver drags the Seahawks back to earth.

McNabb looking top shelf today... 19/25, 341 yards, 1 TD. Slight improvement over week 1.

Win today and the Colts have the same record as the Pats, Jets, Ravens, Titans, and Bungels. Week 1 can be largely forgotten.

Steelers look like the early favorites in the AFC.

We did it with out Revis in the second half; we did it in the air, and we did it on the ground with LT and Greene. The Patriots put up 38 on the Bengals (who have a pretty good defense); the Jets held them to 14 points with none coming in the second half (with out Revis)
I told all of you last week that if the jets cut out the stupid penalties we would win the game. . .who doubts that now.

Who cares? Penalties are a part of the game and no one would be shocked if Antonio "I can't even remember all my kid's names" Cromartie turned into an automatic first down machine again at some point this season.

Props to the Jets... after the blow to Welker's head (probably a concussion, IMO), even though he came back to catch a TD, he was not himself and then Brady fell too much in love with tossing up bombs for Moss rather than spreading it around like he did in the first half.

I have never seen Sanchez play that well, probably becausae he has never played nearly that well ever before (career bests in all categories).

The Patriots have become not a very good second half team on the road, but the Jets made several halftime adjustments that seemed to work wonders, whereas the Patriots did not.
