Default Official Roy Hibbert Twitter thread.

I figured, that this would be a good idea for a thread , so that now we have an official thread to place his twitter updates ... Instead of seeing multiple threads , everytime he says something cool or gives us some insider news.. heh

Watching tape of me against A. Bogut. Off and Def. He kicked my *** last year. Gotta learn from it. Next up B Lopez, Dwight and Al horford.

    .
Keep up the good work Roy ..
Just remember , all this hard , time consuming work is gonna pay off for you ... if you stay the course ..

Plumlee reminds me of a young Dale Davis. Good rebounding and he contests shots well on defense and his offensive game is very raw just like DD's was coming out of college.

Just saw that about Bogut kicking his butt. Roy is pretty honest with himself. When you couple that with his work ethic, you really have something!!

    Another tweet from today.

"Hello world I can not believe someone went streaking I downtown indy just for Area 55 tix. U could have been arrested. Wow. I love this city "

    I must've missed this!!!

Nice, creative video, but he's not naked. You can see his shorts.

Well if he was really naked, as soon as the wrong person see's this on Youtube, this guy will be facing charges.

Hope he wins, so he at least gets something from it! lol

Hoya2aPacer: Doing my big brother duties. Took lance to butler to play open gym with the team. Gotta get a pic with these guys. Almost the champs.

Hoya2aPacer: http://twitpic.com/2nvm8i - Playing with sum winners. My man shelvin mack had a good summer this year. Wish him luck.

Here's to hoping that means bornready is getting a full time babysitter and not kicked off the team.

And with this MMA training Roy has been getting, he can kick Lance's @$$ before Lance tries to get into trouble.

Roy was asked earlier in the week ,to the question on why he wears the arm brace/pad ...

    He responded today ...
    ..

"I have a lil bursitis in my elbow. It swells up when I elbow people or dive on the ground. Compression on it is needed. I actually need it. " about 16 hours ago via Twitter for BlackBerry®

This to me says that a lot of players wear those arm guards/ braces as more of a fashion statement than anything. Just like headbands used to be the hot thing, and for a while all the superstars were wearing tights on their legs until Stern banned them. Hell Ray Allen likes those arm braces so much he usually wears one on each arm.

Some players wear it to keep their arms warm. That's not necessarily "needing" it, so maybe that's what Roy was referring too.

But I've heard the elbow thing a few times. That might be pretty common too.

He's saying that he wears it to provide some compression for his elbow bursitis. He actually does need it, as he plainly says.

I think DGPR meant that you can infer from Roy's comments that OTHER players may wear them for a fashion statement, but Roy needs his.

I just wanna say how full of awesome this is. The whole freakin' team minus DC, Posey, and TJ (who cares about TJ?) Just awesome would have been a great night to be at bub's.

Man I am freakin' excited for this season! These guys seem so likable!

Also like the no man left behind mentality, how many all stars (Danny) would be out playing laser tag and eating pound burgers with guys like Magnum and Lance Allred who might not even be on the team?
