    Default Pacers/Pistons/Hawks

Pacers get: Josh Smith, Rip Hamilton
Pacers trade: Dunleavy, Rush, TJ Ford, 2 1st round picks

Hawks get: Brandon Rush, TJ, future 1st round pick (top 3 protected)
Hawks trade: Josh Smith, M. Evans

Pistons get: Mike Dunleavy, M. Evans, 1st round pick (top 3 protected)
    Pistons trade: Rip Hamilton

    Pacers future lineup:

PG: Darren Collison/ AJ Price/ Lance
    SG: Rip Hamilton/ Paul George/ D. Jones
SF: Danny Granger/James Posey/ Paul George
    PF: Josh Smith/Hansbrough/ McRoberts
    C: Roy Hibbert/ Rolle/ Foster/ Solo

    That is a stacked team.

Other teams get cap relief. that they could use.

I like this one as well, possibly even better.

I agree jeff. This is actually a really nice move. I am surprised the Bulls haven't made a hard push for Hamilton.

Josh Smith - 3 years left on contract averaging 12M+ per year.
Rip Hamilton - 3 years left on contract averaging 12.65m per year.
And no draft picks 2 of the next 3 years.

This trade totally destroys whatever flexibility we would have with our roster, as well as any ability to consistently improve it through the draft. Both players are good, but not excellent, at their positions. Personally, I hope to do much better than Smith in the frontcourt either at the trade deadline or next summer, and I don't believe that Hamilton has three years of good ball left in him.
