Default Funniest Pacer Moments of 2010

I think I started a similar thread last year toward the end of the year. Let's see how it goes again this time. We can sure use a little levity on this board right now!

Please post your funniest moments involving the Pacers, PS&E, memories from among your experiences at Conseco, even funny memories of the telecasts. The only rule is to keep this thread light-hearted, as per the intention.

I'll start with an easy one that many of us will remember. It's Quinn Buckner's call at the end of the Hornets game:

Quinn: Yes, Mun Dunleavy got it!

I liked the online fan chat Mike Dunleavy did this summer. I went to find the transcript to post in here, but couldn't find it on pacers.com I don't remember anything specific from the chat, but MDJ was in a joking mood.

Oh and I agree with you the "MUN Dunleavy" moment was hilarious too.

Oh yes Dunleavys chat was funny!

Me: Do you have any unspoken bonds when your on the court with other blue devils?

Mike: I actually let them score on me at will.

Was it in 2010 that Roy did the John Wall dance?

That was honestly the funniest thing I've seen from an NBA player.

Dun won me over, I don't care how many times he misses poor shots or doesn't defend, I'm a fan for life.

It's funny because I think that was the day I decided to embrace MDJ for who he is, a funny, smart, decent basketball player, instead of hoping for him to be someone else. After that chat the leisure suits, and mustaches made so much more sense.

It was refreshing because in all honesty that is his personality in real life. The dude cracks jokes all the time. Probably why him and Foster are good friends. I found this link. He has some good one liners here.

Dunleavy is very funny until he plays over Brandon Rush in the 4th quarter in a pivotal game. Then he's not that funny.

Utah drafting Hayward right before the Pacers, ending any sort of draft controversy if we had not drafted him.

The hibbert flexing his muscle dance after a basket was pretty humorous. Forgot if that was this year or last.

Also wish the Pacers would grow the mustaches back.

I thought it was funny right after Dunleavy's game winning tip in. They were all piling on top of him and I think he was already banged up in that game and he had that look on his face like don't kill me

The 3rd quarter against the nuggets I couldn't stop laughing. Everything we threw up at the rim was going in.

I'll go with this one. I honestly though by the end of that quarter, if a Pacer had tripped over his own feet and lost the ball, it would have somehow found it's way into the basket. I remember taking my boy up to bed at the start of the 3rd with the Pacers leading a close game. By the time I got downstairs again, there was 5 minutes to go in the quarter and the Pacers were up by 30!

Trading Troy Murphy for essentially Darren Collison and James Posey while making the New Jersey Nets kick themselves nonstop each day since.

I agree with us committing highway robbery by giving away Troy Murphy and getting Collison back. I thought that was hysterical.

I know the funniest moment of 2011... Just crown it now..

    Posey on Stoudamire..

We need better than solid. No JJ Redicks, Andray Blatche, Mike Dunleavy type guys to have big roles on our team.

Roy's flex dance was just epic. Dun's chat was also great.

I think the Danny Sings videos during last season were pretty awesome nearly every time.

The last post reminds me about another video they show at the games, which is something I think they used to do on the Tonight Show. DJ goes around the town asking people simple questions. Like "Who lives at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave?" Sometimes if the person doesn't get the corect answer, he'll then ask "Who lives in a pineapple under the sea?" and inevitably they will get the answer to that one right!!
