Here's the link to the Press Release of our schedule...it is the same thing as the above link except it is not a PDF file.

6 of the last 8 at home. Two west coast trips in late november/early December. Second one in the middle of January.

I start really realize how good I think they aren't when the schedule comes out and I start doing won/loss game by game.

Not to be negative, but back in the day, I'd feel like they had a chance to win every game...well, now it's kinda the opposite.

Unless I'm missing it...it looks like only 1 home game vs the Heat. It looks like we play twice in Miami.

Reviewing the schedule is pointless. By October 15th you guys will be non-stop *****ing about JOB and Troy Murphy anyway.

Is it really that difficult to give each team a more similar amount of back to backs? 8 seems like a wide range to me.

    It's there.

Use the first link in my first post, click CALENDAR VIEW above the schedule, then it will show you August (which is blank). Underneath the blank August calendar, you can click October, November, etc.

I know you are joking about the rigged part.

But the lakers usually have fewer back to backs. One big reason is they request having Sunday night home games - most other teams want either Friday and Saturday night home games. But that alone probably decreases lakers number of back to back by 5 or 6. Lakers probably play 10-12 Sunday night home games each season.

They have 11 Sunday night home games. They also have several ABC games which are Sunday afternoon.

best way to avoid back and backs is to play a lot of Sunday games.

Also look at how many home games the Bulls play on Saturday night - also the Bucks usually play a lot of home Saturday night games. Pacers always have a ton of Friday night home games.

Teams can request these type of things. if the pacers sent in a request that they wanted more Sunday home games, they would have fewer back to backs

They have exactly 12 Sunday night home games on their schedule for this upcoming season.

You also get longer road trips if you have less back to backs, no? Lakers have two 7-gamers this season.

Has someone repeatedly **** in your Cheerios? You have been Debbie Downer lately.

On a side note, I thought there was a Debbie Downer smiley?

here is a link to national TV games. NBATV included, . I looked through this very quickly and may have missed a couple

    http://www.nba.com/schedules/nationa...ule/index.html

I see pacers play on ESPN 3/30 - Pistons at pacers. I wouldn't hold your breath about this game actually being shown on ESPN. If both teams are out of the playoffs, they could easily substitute another game.

    NBATV 12/13 - Pacers @ Chicago

ah, ok I had never heard about that before. It is also surprising to me that we only have a total of 5 weekend games (Sat. & Sun.) as for the past several seasons (when I've went to LOTS of games) there have always been a good amount of weekend games and I would usually go to most of them.

Any reason as to why LA likes Sunday night games (to minimize back to backs? or just because?)?

I doubt it is to minimize back to backs. Not sure why, they have done that for years and years though.
