Default In N Out Burger... deconstructed and reconstructed

Welcome to Pacers Digest! New around here? Here are three tips for making the forum a great place to talk about Pacers basketball.

    • Log in. Even if you want to read instead of post, it's helpful because it lets you:
    • Change your signature options. You can hide all signatures by choosing "Settings" (top right) then "General Settings" (middle left) and unchecking the box "Show Signatures" (in the "Thread Display Options" area).
    • Create an ignore list. I know it may seem unneighborly. But you're here to talk about the Pacers, not argue with someone who's just looking for an argument. Most of the regular users on here make use (at least occasionally) of the "Ignore" feature. Just go to "Settings" -> "Edit Ignore List" and add the names.

    This dude is seriously amazing.

Most of this I can do, but the ground beef is not likely to happen as he prescribes.

Fletch: [flirting] Hey Betty, how about lunch at the In N' Out Burger?
    Betty Dilworth: [disgusted] No.
Fletch: Okay, forget the burger, how about just the In N' Out?
    [she sneers at him]
Fletch: Ok, how about just the In?
Why do the things that we treasure most, slip away in time
Till to the music we grow deaf, to God's beauty blind
Why do the things that connect us slowly pull us apart?
Till we fall away in our own darkness, a stranger to our own hearts
And life itself, rushing over me
Life itself, the wind in black elms,
Life itself in your heart and in your eyes, I can't make it without you

That was amazing. I gotta say, though, the fav thast I miss is good, old, Fatburger!!

Here's my one pound, triple patty, triple cheese burger with bacon and a fried egg on top from my trip out west last May. I would have gotten the chili on top, too, but I AM watching my figure!

Hey! What're you kicking me for? You want me to ask? All right, I'll ask! Ma'am, where do the high school girls hang out in this town?

You know when I was out in California/Nevada in June I saw an In N Out Burger place and thought about stopping.

I think this is the last of the major chain burger joints I have not been to and after seeing Skaut_Ech burger I am now seriously bummed I did not go there.

In n out is not just another chain hamburger place. I'm a bit a a "foodie" and I can say without hesitation that one burger and one order of fries from In N Out will forever change what you think of fast food. It's insulting to In N Out to even make a comparison, frankly.

Example: when you ask for an order of fries at In N Out, they pull out a fresh (never frozen) whole potato, cut it into fries and deep fry that one potato, pull it out, put it in a bag and hand it to you. It is made from scratch and to order. And I think you will likely never taste a French fry that is so good. It tastes like a fresh cut fried potato. Because that's what it is. They pretty much approach everything this way.

    Simply Delicious!

Obviously without having ever had an In N Out Burger I can't say for sure but just looking at the two they appear very similar and both do the fresh cut fries thing.

    Well played sir...well played...

Seriously though, I was stationed with a guy while in Texas who RAVED about In N Out. Being naive and from the Midwest, it was the first time I'd ever heard of this place. I still have yet to try it, but it looks delicious. I've had Five Guys Burgers and I really wasn't impressed. Although, it probably had more to do with being hungover than anything though...
