George is getting me all excited about what he is going to bring to our team. Highlights in the this 12 min video are: he makes a silky smooth jumper (his shot is a pleasure to watch), gets a steal then dunks, blocks a shot, hits a three at the buzzer, and makes the correct play by passing the ball when his shot is not there. He did get beat to the rim on one play, but let's not be negative here. I love him so far! I know, it's just practice!

Just look for 24, the video is better when you make it full screen, you can see who is who. I did not see Lance in any of the shots, which makes me wonder...

Things that I observed, T Heurtel looks like the lil pg on the suns...pretty good but maybe it is because he is playing against Russell Robinson...

Marcus Williams is ok, but not going to be much of a offensive threat at the next level

Although Paul George is good and I believe he has the handles to play the 2 but he still has a lot of room to improve...defending the 2 will take a more time to develop, I can see why many scouts have said his potential is so high.

Magnum seems like he will be a force on the defensive end eventually

Josh needs to stop taking all those 3's

Hendricks is good enough to make a NBA roster

    Where was Lance?

Everyone else pretty much doesn't have a chance

That bullet half-court pass by Josh was fantastic.

Yeah he is like a lil Goran Dragic from the Suns...good passes, defense was pretty decent besides the time he got crosses by Robinson and he can make shots and drive it in....

It will be interesting to see what he does in summer league...

Commenting as I watch, but how about that shot-clock beater by George? Love that.

Does Paul George look like he's lost weight? He seems fairly thinned out. Good that it likely suggests he is working hard, if one wants to read into it, maybe an attempt to display himself as a shooting guard.

Enjoyable video to watch, although at this stage we can't read too much into it, still early training sessions and against relatively lower oposition. Thanks for bringing it to our attention.

do you know what worries me? McRoberts did not stand out to me, even with his NBA experience. IMO he didn't look any better than Marcus Williams.

So Lance is hurt, that's why he not playing.

He probably shouldn't be there and he played like it. He is not a rookie anymore or even second year player. And he must stop taking threes.

Hopefully it's something minor. Looks that way, as it wasn't a big flashing headline or something.

I think the most impressive thing about George is his body control. He's got such great balance and everything he does looks so smooth. Incredibly impressive when you realize he went into college as a center..

George does look very smooth, but what scares me is sometimes he looks kind of lifeless, too.

    Four things stand out:

    1. McRoberts is shooting too many jumpers.

    2. George has a beautiful jump shot.

    3. I wonder if Stephenson is hurt, because he's not practicing.

    4. Heurtel (#51) looks really good. He gets totally beat on one play by Robinson, but offensively he looks fantastic. He's got a lot of crafty little passes. He throws four or five different types of passes in this video. He also looks confident and aggressive. He also looks like a 17 year old. He's got a nice jumper too.

I did notice that a bit as well, seems like he was kind of floating along at times, then he steals the ball goes the length of the floor and dunks and I say, well OK!!! I think he is going to have to work on his defense a lot, but I love him offensively already!

Yeah Stephenson apparently injured his foot. Hope he's good by summer league.

Marcus Williams is thinner then I expected. Can handle the rock, but seemed to be lacking defensively.

Magnum Rolle appears to be very active on both ends. If he continues to improve say goodbye to Hans Solo and hello to Magnum P.I

Paul George looks smooth, and seems to let the game come to him, I think that's a good thing for a rookie, as long as he's aggressive once it comes to him.

Thomas Heurtel (spelling?) looks intriguing, ran the team well, had a nice jump shot, and made so nice passes. Got crossover pretty badly but seemed to be decent on defense. Needs to add some muscle.

Russell Robinson actually didn't look bad either, seemed very active on the defensive end, pushed the tempo and made some nice plays.

McRoberts really seemed like a floor general. Very vocal and active. Too many jump shots for my liking though, especially against the competition. Guess he truly is working his way into the rotation?!
