Default Free Agency Starts tonight at midnight

What effect if any do you think it will have on us? Meaning can we get involved in a three way trade if someone does a s&t for one of the top free agents. Will some get traded and then want a player we have to fill a gap for them? Will it make getting Collison any easier or harder? When Lebron and the top guys get their money will it bring down the cost of a player like Steve Blake? Will it make signing someone like him easier or harder?
Is there anything anyone else can think of?

I could really see someone like maybe the Raptors wanting Murphy to fill in Bosh's role, assuming he leaves. So yes, I think some teams could be interested in some of our "better" expiring contracted players to fill large holes on their team.

Probably not. I mean other teams will be in the hunt for James and Bosh while the Pacers make headway by signing Vitaly Potapeko as an assistant. Welcome to life as an Indy bball fan!

Yes it is, and it seems to me the Eastern Conference is about to get a lot better if things go the way they seem to be. I pray the Pacers can get in on some of the action somehow and pull a point guard out of it.

That is what I am hoping for. I don't have a clue how or what team we would try to work with, but I hope something happens.

I, for one, would not mind getting Raymond Felton in a sign-and-trade. I mean he is already better than Ford (imo) as I haven't heard of Raymond being a blackhole on offense, and T.J. is our only option as of right now heading into the season. I would love to involve Ford in the sign-and-trade for Felton if at all possible as well.

I just have reserved myself to not start getting excited until something happens. I would be shocked if we got a big name in here. My guess is at best we will land Felton.

I've given up on New Orleans and getting Collison.

Now I'm aiming for us to sign Steve Blake.

Maybe we will go for the green and try to bring Paul Pierce here for his retirement parade. He is supposed to be testing free agency, isn't he?

Question for count or anyone else who knows the league and contract rules:

In a sign and trade can a team add players? For example, if Toronto wanted could they s/t Chris Bosh and include Jose Calderon in a trade to Miami for Beasley?

For what it is worth I have heard no such rumor, I just had a buddy who said he believed Toronto couldn't include players in an s/t. Is that true?
