Saw on twitter that you went. How was the Hammer performance?
The acoustics were terrible. You could barely hear the music (thank God). Dude can still move, though. The 1990 celebration, as well as the fireworks were awesome.

I still say nothing beats the electricity flowing through the stands on those last 2 outs of the 8th inning. Arthur Rhodes was amazing.

Maybe my seats were just so low that the soundwaves were simply traveling over my head

Regarding AJ Burnett apologizing for neglecting to inform the team about his cut and whether "Sorry" is good enough.

Basically said that "Sorry" is ok now, with it being that the Yanks still have a multiple game lead in the division, but that had this happened in Game 6 of the ALCS, "sorry" wouldn't cut it.

Nights like tonight are why Jonny Gomes is my favorite player on the team.

Great game by Leake tonight. Can't believe they tried to blow another one for him.

Why does it always seem that whenever Wood and Leake pitch, the team does everything they can to try and keep them from getting a W?

Don't blame it on the "team". Blame it on the bullpen.

Yeah, the Reds don't fare too well after rain delays. I really hate what it does to pitchers as well.

Well, the bullpen likes to **** up Leake's games, but whenever Wood takes the mound, he never seems to get any run support.

Glad to see our bats have woken up these past couple of games. I love these huge offensive outbursts. 12 runs on 19 hits last night, so far today 10 runs on 13 hits.

Travis Wood gets his first major league W. It's about time our offense gave this guy some run support, and they gave him more than enough today.

I'm thinking I give it another month of consistent production before I start the Votto 4 MVP campaign.

Sat and Sun games are almost sell outs!!! I think I read earlier they just had standing room only tix. Good to see, hope the Reds can beat those Braves.

Had to change the avatar from Gomes to Stubbs. Ever since I made it a pic of Gomes, he's not been hitting nearly as well. Stubbs on the other hand, can't possibly do much worse than he has lately, so I'm hoping the avatar has a reverse effect on him.

Can Cueto get win #11 tonight? I say yes, 7 innings of 3-run ball from Cueto, and our offense will continue on their tear (at least 7 runs).
