No more predictions from me. I feel responsible for that loss somehow.

Today is a new day though. Go Reds!

In light of our most recent victory and our (permanent) return to 1st place, I felt inspired and decided to make this. Now, keep in mind, this is my first ever time editing anything, go cut me a little slack. All in all, I thought I did ok. And yes, the song IS Nickelback, but I figured it was appropriate since it's his song for when he comes to the plate.

Lmao. In my opinion, you can't have a Jonny Tribute Video without that clip. Intensity.

Nice video, thanks for sharing that. These days off are painfully excruciating for me. Especially coming off a game that wasn't televised. I know there are far worse problems to have, but seriously I cannot wait until tomorrow. I'll be in 116 on Monday night btw. Anyone else going?

Hmm, there are a lot of rumors floating around that the Reds have claimed Adam Dunn off waivers.

His offense would be nice, since noone in the of can seem to hit except for Heisey. it will be interesting to see if Stubbs plays this weekend since he lit them up last time in chicago. Maybe heisey, stubbs, bruce???

Harang Could Be An August Target
    http://baseball.realgm.com/src_wiret...august_target/

I say, it's about time. Harang has been a shell of his former self for about 2.5 seasons now. A quality start here and there just doesn't cut it for me, from a guy who is supposed to be an "ace".

I agree. at this point, he's just not a good player anymore and isn't even good enough for our rotation.

IMHO, our Starting Rotation should be:

    1. Johnny Cueto
    2. Travis Wood
    3. Bronson Arroyo
    4. Mike Leake
    5. Edinson Volquez

In terms of our bullpen, I'm loving Ondrusek, Jordan Smith, and King Arthur. Cordero is the NL's Papelbon. Ridiculously frustrating. Can't wait for Aroldis to come up. 103 on the gun in Louisville? **** yeah.

Couldn't agree more. After so many years of watching our pitching staff get knocked around like nobodies business, it's great to finally have some quality pitching, both starting and coming out of the pen. I can't freaking wait to see what Chapman can do against big league hitters.

Let's give this thread some life again. After all, we did just sweep the Marlins and re-take a 1 game lead over St. Louis for 1st place in the NL Central. Orlando Cabrera is due back on Wednesday, and the team seems to be as tight as ever. There is much to rejoice about.

Yeah, he seems to cover more ground, and make good, strong, throws every time. Maybe he doesn't get to more balls than Cabrerra, but every one he gets to he gets there easier and in a better position to make the throw. He hasn't been near as bad with the stick as most expected either.

Janish with the homer tonight. Solid performance all around, even though AZ's pitcher was dominant to start the game. Kid struck out 8 of the first 9 batters.
