Default I need some help with Pacer history

If you follow Bill Simmons on ESPN's Page 2, you might already know that he's being allowed to program NBATV for one whole weekend in August. He's asking for suggestion for great games to show.

I'd like to suggest the Pacers/Magic game where Rik Smits hit the game winner after several other "game winners" had already been made in the few seconds leading up to Rik's shot. That was one of the most exciting finishes I've ever seen.

Who here can tell me which game of which series that was and in what year did it happen?

Oh, and if you want to suggest any games to Bill, you can e-mail him at sportsguynba@aol.com. His weekend will happen Aug. 27-30.

    Thanks!

I want game #4 of the 1991 series with the Celtics. But Bill Simmons would certainly object to programming the game where Chuck really stuck it to "Basketball Jesus".
Why do the things that we treasure most, slip away in time
Till to the music we grow deaf, to God's beauty blind
Why do the things that connect us slowly pull us apart?
Till we fall away in our own darkness, a stranger to our own hearts
And life itself, rushing over me
Life itself, the wind in black elms,
Life itself in your heart and in your eyes, I can't make it without you

someone should suggest Reggie's 25-point 4th quarter game against the Knicks, and the 8 points in 8 seconds (or somehting like that) against the Knicks.
The poster "pacertom" since this forum began (and before!). I changed my name here to "Slick Pinkham" in honor of the imaginary player That Bobby "Slick" Leonard picked late in the 1971 ABA draft (true story!)

Some non-Pacer games that I wouldn't mind watching......

The game where David Robinson had something like 73 points. There was another where he went for a quadruple double.

The game where Bird & Wilkins tore each other up the entire 2nd half of a Boston - Atlanta game.

Simmons mentioned the Bird/Wilkins game, but probably won't show it because he wants to show games that aren't regularly played already, which the Bird/Wilkins game is. He's trying to find great, yet relatively obscure, games.

Then again, being that he's such a big Bird fan, he might just throw in the 4th quarter for the heck of it.
