I did not see the game live, but I read about it last night. I have to say I was really impressed that the umpire came out and apologized, but I hope the call is changed and the pitcher gets his no hitter (though it really will not be the same)

I did just hear the pitcher is going to give the ump (who was given the option not to work today game, but choose to work it) the card and shake his hand before today's game.

This umpire will always be remembered for this blown call with 2 outs for the rest of his career, but it is nice to see a ump man up and say he screwed up.

I really do not know enough about baseball as I have not followed it since Cal Ripken played for the O's, but I really am surprised they do not have instant replay for situations like this.
