SA has had 2 more really good chances since the goal to put it away. Both teams have had chances.

And Mexico equalizes from... the South African left back area. Basically a pass from Mexico's left front over the center to Mexico's right front, where one of their players can receive the ball, unguarded, and shoot it past the South African keeper.

Where was that South African left back... AGAIN?

Yeah, Mexico had a nice first half with nothing to show for it and RSA had a few close chances with no goals after the first in the second. A draw was a fair result.

This exhange is quite superb! Thank you for the link.

In response to Trader Joe, all i can say is freedom is clearly your right, as it is ours, although it was quite a long time previous to you that we were able to declare it so! :-P

As for the references to the match in 1950, I believe we have won the last four exchanges, but still, i'm sure there will be many dreaming of another 'miracle on grass' moment!

Regardless should be great fun to watch!

They're awful. You can't hear the fans, the chants, nothing except for that incessant drone. Only a day into the WC and the last three have already blown this one out the water in terms of atmosphere.

shocked at how lifeless the greeks were. very surprised, didn't expect it would be so comfortable for us.

match with nigeria is key, now. a draw would have us in a very very strong position to advance.

argentina 1, nigeria 0 right now. argies controlling tempo. game's slowed down a bit.
