    Here is another one.

    Charlie Bell 2 yr, 7,951,360
    Michael Redd 1 yr, 18,300,000
    #15 in 2010
    #37 in 2010

    Dahntay Jones 3 yr, 7,100,000
    Troy Murphy 1 yr, 11,968,253
    Mike Dunleavy 1 yr, 10,561,984
    #10 in 2010
    #57 in 2010

They take on Murphy and Dunleavy/Jones to help shore up their two positions of need. Redd won't be back before calendar year 2011 is over. Who knows what Redd will be once he comes back, but I doubt Milwaukee and Redd see that marriage lasting any longer. We get a few million dollars off of next year's cap situation, while improving our second round pick signifaicantly. This is assuming that the players we like are not available at 10 and we could move down to 15 and still get our guy in thenext tier of players. Just a thought. Bash away!!!

I would be ok with this if Redd is on track rehab wise.

    Bash away I will.

Why give up 3 mil in expiring for Redd that is worse off injury wise than Dunleavy. At least with Murphy & Dun, you are going to have players that can contribute on the court.

No thanks to Bell. I'd rather keep Jones than Bell. Bell hasn't done anything since signing his contract. Jones is better, and a better trade piece as well.

Nor would I give up the #10 for their #15. I don't feel Dallas isn't going to give up their #57 pick in this draft either.

I have absolutely no idea why we would give up the #10 pick in this trade. It makes absolutely no sense and swings it horribly in Milwaukee's favor.

I was thinking of something like this:

    Murphy + Dunleavy\Foster

    Redd + #15

Redd was terrible this year when he played. As of right now, he has less on court value than Dunleavy. His only value is as a big expiring contract. In your version of this trade, we're giving up everything and getting nothing.

In this version of the trade Milwaukee gets a two productive veteran players (both with expiring contracts) in exchange for the #15 pick.

    IND: Michael Redd

    MIL: Troy and Mike.

We still keep Dahntay who can backup Danny at SF.

If Redd plays as well as he did 2 seasons ago, we'll have some extra money left over to bring him back for a cheaper contract for a few more years if he agrees.
