I moderately disagree since I think that in the offseason, we will sign another Watson-Jarret-like PG for a single 1 year contract and Foster will return from injury next season. This will push AJ and McRoberts back to the bench and we will be back to where we were at the beginning of this season.

This is David West, he is the Honey Badger, West just doesn't give a *****....he's pretty bad *ss cuz he has no regard for any other Player or Team whatsoever.

Even with how solid Watson's play has been lately, I believe that Jarrett Jack is easily the better player today, and could continue to get better over the next few years. He is a better player than Price, and I'd even say that Price's ceiling may top out around a Jack quality player, that as a borderline starter at PG.

If nothing else on this team changed but you got Jack instead of Watson, for instance, I think we would have a few more wins. Enough wins to make a difference? Probably not. But we'd be a better team.

Note: I don't hold this as a bad decision by Bird to let Jack go. I still feel that was a solid basketball decision even if I would have signed him.

I am uncertain as to why it took the Pacers this long to begin playing up to my expectations. Therefore I'm uncertain as to whether or not it is a good sign for next year.

    I don't know.

Whether JOB wants to play Price or not, Larry Bird has made it clear he likes AJ. And AJ has proven he, at the very least, can handle the backup role right now.

I'm sure the only issue though, is with Ford. We don't want Ford, so having Price as the only PG on the roster (and possibly Williams) we'd like to keep might be scary. Particularly if Ford plays as well this season as he did last season. Then our PG's become "terrible TJ, AJ..who will sort of be having another rookie season, and Williams..D Leaguer, who wasn't a PG until he played in the D League" ..could be a problem.

But still, if we don't have enough money to sign Earl Watson..how on earth would we have enough money to sign someone like Earl Watson.

Plumlee reminds me of a young Dale Davis. Good rebounding and he contests shots well on defense and his offensive game is very raw just like DD's was coming out of college.

just now? Strength and conditioning grows most young players bodies.

Brandon needs to get the ball based to him more. He's been open a lot behind the arc. He also needs to move.

Mike has done very well against the Knicks in the past.

Bruno said on the live chat for the game that Marcus Williams has not been signed and that he's not sure that it will happen. He went on to say that even if Marcus was signed, he wouldn't expect to see him play.

Maybe he'll sign in the offseason and play for our summer team and/or our preseason team.

If he's impressive there, then maybe he'll get a contract for next season.

Hopefully that's what will happen. I'm excited about the prospect of trying him out. I'm just concerned that if we wait until the offseason to try to sign him that another team will have already snatched him up.

Lazy play by Dunleavy there. That's not usual.

Just turned this on. Hibs looking good out there, then I checked the box and saw he was 6-7. That's very nice.
Welcome to Pacers Digest! New around here? Here are three tips for making the forum a great place to talk about Pacers basketball.

    • Log in. Even if you want to read instead of post, it's helpful because it lets you:
    • Change your signature options. You can hide all signatures by choosing "Settings" (top right) then "General Settings" (middle left) and unchecking the box "Show Signatures" (in the "Thread Display Options" area).
    • Create an ignore list. I know it may seem unneighborly. But you're here to talk about the Pacers, not argue with someone who's just looking for an argument. Most of the regular users on here make use (at least occasionally) of the "Ignore" feature. Just go to "Settings" -> "Edit Ignore List" and add the names.

    Enjoy your time at PD!
