Atlanta is always a tough matchup for us because of their athleticism. I think this is a game where Josh can excel and I'm interested to see him spend some time on Josh Smith.

Agreed, but I don't care if he's guarding Bibby. I just want his energy on the floor so he can make things happen.

this wins are not changing anything for the next year, they are going to lose like they always do, unless they make some amazing trade that I don't see happening

so beating good teams that should be playing their best ball this time of the year means nothing?

You're sleeping too much on this team vnzla, I realize you were having alot of fun in the draft board but these wins have been on the backs of core players that are key parts of our future! The big difference in this win streak has been the apparent health of danny granger, and the upped play of hibbert and mcbob. Expiring contracts have netted players like caron butler for the mavs and antawn jamison for the cavs. We have a ton of them and theres no real reason similar deals cant be swung by us and those players are likely just as good as anyone in the draft short of john wall and favors.

These wins are against quality teams and involve our youth, theres no reason for you not to be excited about them!

I expect the Pacers to come back to earth in this game. I'm hoping we continue to see Price and McRoberts get solid minutes.

I actually like the rotation on the Jazz game. Of course part of that was Watson getting elbow, but McRoberts and Price played good minutes.

I think Dunleavy plays better with Price and McRoberts on the floor. The best lineup for Mike is Price, Granger, McRoberts and Hibbert. Really good passers who see the floor and a scoring threat in Granger.

I like Dahntay Jones, but as the season has moved forward the more I've noticed how much he stops the ball. He likes to go one on one and shoot pull up jumpers or drive head down to the lane. He's had some good games offensively if he's own or exploiting a mismatch, but more often then not he messes up the flow of the offense. I hope he can just stick to defense and be used like he was in Denver with about 12 mpg

FSI isn't showing the game. At least not in Fort Wayne on Verizon FiOS. The fact that Sunday games are almost never televised really sucks.

I'm sure someone has said it before, but I did want to say how much I liked the Roy / McBob twin tower line-up.

It seemed very effective in the minutes it happened last game. Roy's D under the basket allowed Josh's roaming and disruption to be effective without uncovering lanes. On the offense, the combo was energetic, with good passing, and productive offensive rebounding.

If the Pacers win this one, I'm going to have to take this bag off. The team doesn't deserve it, the way they're playing lately.
    [~]) ... Cheers! Go Pacers!

Regarding the poll... I picked undecided. I think the young players will continue to grow and develop. That gives me hope. But I absolutely do not think Obe is the coach to help them reach their potential. I'm not sure that random starting lineups, "irrelevant" comments, bizarre in-game rotations, and a penchant for small ball is a recipe for success.

    Just my $0.02.

The SG matchup should be exciting.

Hopefully Roy overpowers Horford at the center.

I've noticed that certain groups of players play well together..

TJ + Troy is the most obvious. But the Roy, Rush, Price grouping is another..but I actually think Dun and AJ play really well together. Makes sense though, AJ has played a majority of his minutes with Dun, and of any of the PGs, AJ is the best fit for Dun.

Damn win streak. I just paid $10 so I could watch the game on my iphone. If anyone else is interested there is a Race to the Playoffs app where you can watch the rest of the season for $10. Sorry if this is considered advertising.

Earl Watson is killing it so far. 5 assists in the first 6 minutes. Rush 3 of 3 from distance.

With the way Earl is playing as of late I want to resign him. This team needs veteran leadership out of the PG position and AS OF LATE he has done that. The question is, will it continue through next year if he gets a better contract? Well, and can we afford him for next year?

I think Earl's emergence as truly our best option at PG (ala Jarret Jack last season) is going to force Larry Bird to trade Ford in the off season so that we can re-sign Watson. I don't see Larry letting the same situation happen 2 years in a row with our PG's, so he will find some way to trade Ford no matter what it takes. Earl has earned another contract.

I agree. I just hope we get this Earl all season long next year.

Good to see Brandon actually looking for his shot there.
