Plumlee reminds me of a young Dale Davis. Good rebounding and he contests shots well on defense and his offensive game is very raw just like DD's was coming out of college.

Just got home. The atmosphere in the Fieldhouse was AMAZING!!!! McRoberts is an NBA Power Forward. He's not a starter, but he's a pretty damn good guy to bring off the bench.

    Five game win streak!!!!

I believe the turning point of the game was Josh playing great defense on Boozer and making the hustle plays to start the fast break. Then Danny went crazy with 18 in the 4th.

The turning point for me was AJ Price. He didn't light it up or anything, but on TV you could tell he annoyed D Will. D started playing emotional and that doesn't seem like a good thing for him. That and when Danny came back in. He was in assassin mode tonight.

I'm watching the game again. The first time I listened to Mark and Slick, this time I'm listening to the Utah announcers. In the 3rd quarter, just before the Pacers take off they are saying how well the Jazz are playing.

There's 6 minutes left in the Cleveland vs Spurs game and it's late in the first for the Suns vs Knicks game. Tim Duncan has 3 blocks. Unless he's able to get 3 more real fast or unless Amare or Lopez has a good night, Hibbert will be the daily leader in blocks. That feels good. That's on a night when games were played by Jazz, Orlando, Cleveland, Suns, Lakers, OKC, Denver and Spurs. Also, Danny will most certainly be the daily leader in points. I'm really happy with our 17th picks!

Yeah, Utah is a awesome team. Quarter of the way into the 3rd I was ready and content to lose to such a team. Even at that point I was happy how the team had competed due to the admiration of Utah's overall toughness. Utah is dangerous when firing on all cylinders. They fought hard and the Pacers just had more energy.

Sounds like this might have been the game of the year to watch for the Pacers.

Sad that the wins are killing our lottery status, but I'm glad the team is playing much better together. We just need that to roll over into next year. Last year this team went on a winning streak and that didn't roll over.

This team is just a bruiser/athletic PF and a PG with leadership skills away from a great playoff team.

Man oh man... I am SO damn proud of our boys tonight!!!

They played really well to start the game off, but then Utah made a bit of a run and got up by double digits.

Normally at that point we would expect the Pacers to mount an improbable comeback (after falling down 20),
only to fizzle out down the stretch and lose in frustrating fashion.

    Instead?

We played with an incredible amount of passion and poise, and made the Jazz look like a D-League team the entire second half.

Danny goes off for 44, Troy and Josh played very well with energy and scoring in the second half, Price played great D, and we just absolutely stuck it to the Jazz.

For the first time in a long time, the Pacers imposed their will so forcefully on a team, that their opponent simply lost their will to try mounting a comeback.

Good time to be a Pacers fan right now. We are firing on all cylinders, and I am so proud of our effort and play right now!!!

Here's a few quotes from the night:

"When we went on the big run and got the big lead, it carried momentum forward for us for the rest of the game. Danny made a lot of great shots and everybody was looking for him. And when he got open he made them pay." – A.J. Price

"They played hard and they’re a talented group. They play together. Their future might look really bright." – Utah's Carlos Boozer on the Pacers

"He made every type of shot against us -- contested threes, wide-open threes, and he drove the to basket. It was one of those nights. He got rolling. He has lot of things in his game. He can do just about everything there is." – Utah's C.J. Miles on Granger

Yay....another 5 game winning streak and its too little too late now, but I'm not gonna cry about them winning. They should have been doing this during the whole season!! I wish Granger could have gone for 50 tonight.

Not once did I feel guilty for cheering for this team. Not once did I think of an unproven draft pick. Not once did tank come into my mind when I saw Josh strip Boozer. Not once did I think this game is irrelevant.

AJ struggled at times, but through those struggles we saw a player who gave Deron fits. Utah was hot. And we iced them over and over with threes.

Would this have been nice earlier? How early? Some of you were calling tank in December. If this happened a month and a half ago we would be in the playoffs with teams in the East losing confidence (Bobcats and Toronto).

These players haven't lost confidence that is something to commend. We are not tanking. I understand that makes some livid. But being livid does not change the fact that we are not tanking. Enjoy what joys we are having. This can be built upon.

What worries me? Can we gain confidence only when the pressure is off? Can we win only when the pressure is eliminated?

I don't have League Pass or Comcast On Demand or anything, and I was wondering if anyone knows of a way to *legally* get a copy of this game?

I love what I'm seeing and don't care about the draft position anymore. I was never convinced that the draft was that deep outside of Wall, Turner, Cousins. The front office probably prefers saving the money and still landing a solid pick. I agree considering it's quit equal 5 - 12.

I'd rather enjoy winning now and give my self a small glimmer of hope for next year.

I think McRoberts has earned some respect from JOb, and will get playing time regularly. He seems to be playing with more instinct; the game is slowing down for him, and Josh's high Bball IQ is starting to take over, especially on D. Boozer has a center's body, and Josh played him as well as anyone could tonight. He has been awesome playing center. Being young, he will only get stronger too. He and Hanborough could be a solid, situational combo off the bench next year and into the future. The post defense Josh is playing has taken my attention away from Murphy because it has been Josh's job to guard the best post player. Murphy rotates decently when he and McRoberts are on the floor at the same time with Josh handling the banging. Josh and Roy also make a good combo.

I guess, Josh is like glue. He has the mark of potential written all over him. I likey.

I may be in the tanking camp... but man was that a great win to watch! I just love seeing Price and McRoberts on the court at the same time. Whoever has said that McRoberts doesn't belong in the NBA is just dead wrong.

Jazz tanked this game for a better draft spot.

I wish Josh would have made that dunk over boozer in the 4th, he wound up for that one and it was just off the front of the rim.

It was a great game to be at. I will have to admit, that when we were in line for the 4th pick I certainly wanted them to tank it, but that team was playing a pathetic brand of ball, look hopeless. Now this team gives you alot of hope for next season.
