SALT LAKE CITY -- Indiana Pacers first-round draft pick David Harrison sprained his left knee during an 88-84 win over the San Antonio Spurs on Wednesday in the Rocky Mountain Revue.
Harrison, a 7-foot center, suffered a Grade 1 sprain of the medial collateral ligament, according to coach Rick Carlisle.
"David had a very productive week here in Utah," Carlisle said. "We'll know more after he has an MRI, but we do not expect this to be a serious injury that keeps him off the floor for an extended period of time."
Harrison is scheduled to fly to Indianapolis this morning to be examined by the Pacers' medical staff. Harrison will not return to the Pacers' summer league team, which has games remaining today and Saturday.
Harrison was injured with 7:37 remaining in the third quarter. After a timeout, he returned to the court and finished the game with 22 points and three rebounds.
