We're just going to have to accept the fact that the Pacers are an outstanding team of late blooming competitors that refuse to lose in the months of March and April! I have no hope for the future of this franchise anymore, just more of the same or worse. What's up, Kansas City?

    Went to the game today.

I seen inspired basketball. Especially on the defensive end. Where was this 2 months ago?

Haven't seen the Pacers frustrate a team like that defensively all season long.

Very disappointed, though. I want to watch Wall, Turner, Cousins, Favors or Johnson next season, not Cole Aldrich for 41 games.

Seriously we are now screwing up our chance of just being there to draft a decent contributor like Patterson. I don't think there is any other PF worth picking in the top 10 besides Patterson. Well besides the obvious Cousins and Favors.

It was a fun game to watch, but the bigger picture is the draft, and we're only hurting ourselves by winning.

I'm hoping that crowd was lured to see more games.

Curious...are the fans who actually go to the games genuinely happy when the Pacers win, or do they get upset amongst themselves?

I enjoyed this game a lot. Balanced scoring. Rush shrugging off early struggles. Roy coming on strong. Danny showing some D on Durant. Great game all-around.

Also, any game where you make the opposing team's best player say, "Tonight was a disgrace to how we play and the game of basketball, how we came out, and that starts with me," he said. "I apologize to all the fans, all my teammates that I came out like that, and it translated to my team," is a good win.

KD must have had too good a time at the Jay-Z concert last night.

Which was awesome by the way.

Awesome. Just great. So we suffered through this disaster of a season for the 9th-10th pick.

I really don't think I can take this crap anymore. I've had enough of this.

    I saw something today...

Roy passed off out of the post onto Brandon and he made a reverse layup right under the basket.

Brandon had a humongous smile on his face after he finished that shot. Roy congratulated him with a five.

Now who said the best things in life aren't free?

I hope we don't trade Brandon.

We need a big smile going forward.

you guys are acting like the draft pick is the end all be all. The real improvements will start next year when you have numerous trade pieces in place and cap relief. Who really cares what number draft pick they get. Unless it was top 2 it was not going to be star potential anyway. They still will get good value and huge trading pieces for next year with expiring contracts in Foster, Dun, Murph etc...

The draft pick is important, because that's one less role that we got to fill.

I understand what a top 3-5 draft pick COULD mean to us, but I don't go to the games to watch them lose. I go there hoping for a win, so yes I'm happy when they win. Especially when the young guys play like they did yesterday. I want Wall/Turner as much as the next guy, but us losing these games doesn't guarantee that. I know it's been beaten into the ground over and over again, but we could still end up with the top pick no matter where we are in the lottery. If it's meant to be, it will happen.

If we don't wind up with a top 4 pick, we need to draft well and we have a chance at a steal so hopefully Bird keeps a sharp eye out on some possible 6-10 prospects. Of course he needs to keeps a sharp eye out for Cousins. It's possible we get lucky when it's our selection.

I think Greg Monroe if he wasn't backing out, could've been a defensive steal.
