    But you'll take it.
    It's not like I have a choice.

Yes I'll take it, but I won't be happy about it.

If I had a say, I'd drop them to 10th on principle.

I was just pointing out that you said you would LYAO if the Pistons got a better draft pick than us. I just don't see the humor.
Oh I was saying that if we win this game and by winning this game we end up with one more win after the season then Detroit, resulting in Detroit having better odds of winning the lottery, and they do it would be funny because had we lost this game it could have been us....

Kind of similar to what happen with us and the Bulls a few years ago. IIRC we were just behind them in losses and they had a better chance of winning the lottery and they won.

Somehow I think you'll get over it if/when your high selection pans out nicely and plays a key role in your next wave of contention down the road.

interesting in thought but having the same amount of balls still doesn't mean we would have on the lottery. And still it would be frustrating not funny. I do see how it might make a few here snap and laugh hysterically for that reason.

I'm happy to see Rodney Stuckey play basketball again, but it makes me uncomfortable watching him play now. You just hope something bad doesn't happen.

Would you rather have the 4th worst record and end up picking 7 while the pistons still pick ahead of us. Its all possible. Maybe everyone can still get there wish and us loose tonight.

    Aha, now it gets interesting.

I do not want the Pacers to try to lose. But if they come out hard and get beat, well as the saying goes that's having your cake...and someone else's too.

I never understood why Summers was the only Piston rookie not to get any consistent burn this year. Kid has an NBA body and NBA game.

Plumlee reminds me of a young Dale Davis. Good rebounding and he contests shots well on defense and his offensive game is very raw just like DD's was coming out of college.

This is a weird freaking game. Did Detroit just stop tanking for the night or what?

I think tanking usually comes more from the direction of mgmt/coaching and who they choose to play. You put most guys out there, they're going to play as best they can.

At least, until they're so used to it that they don't care. That's why you don't take--you don't want to see that happen.

Not pleased that they suddenly went away from Summers. But that's how they;ve lost most of their games this year. No paying attention to the hot hand.

Well your boy did just give Granger 3 free throws with that hot hand. A new form of tanking maybe? JK

I never said he was a defensive stopper...he did do a good job on Granger as a whole though.
